Well, the plumbing is fixed. But, I got the results of my biopsy. I have the early stages of "Ductal Carcinoma in Situ". It is a collection of abnormal cells in my milk ducts. It was caught very early. The worst thing was how I was treated by the radiology place. I had the plumber here when the dr called to tell me. After he left I called back to find out the name of what I have. Because I couldn't remember the radiologist's name or what time she called the person got really rude. I did the best thing I could. I hung up. But, I did call back and make a complaint.

FINALLY! What was that all about, QIAD? I couldn't get my 'fix' this morning! lol!

IRISH - you'd laugh - I did do a window yesterday. One. And just the inside. One a day can't hurt you - can it?

SUZ - sorry about all the plumbing woes. And about your diagnosis. And about how you were treated. I experienced similiar treatment once from a doctor. There's simply no excuse. If they are going to be in the business of people's health, then they need to be more sensitive to how hearing such things as less than favorable lab results can knock the wind out of their patients! Shame on them. So what's next for you? do you have an appt to decide on which therapy to choose?

I've been just sort of goofing off this morning, slowly cleaning my sewing room, and pulling some fabrics to make some S.S. gifts. It's a rainy day here so DH is putting my big Christmas poinsettia quilt on the frame. YAY!! He might actually get some stitching done today!

And if I don't get off here, I won't get any done myself!

It is now 4PM. I could not get on QIAD this morning. I tried every angle I could think of. We got back from fishing and went on into town to get groceries, etc.
Finally got on the computer at 3PM. Had an urgent email to deal with. I first read it on my cell phone, but needed to copy the message and send it on to the rest of my sibblings. Had to get signed in on the computer to do all that. Hotmail was acting up. Thought I was never going to get the message to open so I could copy and paste it into a new message to my brothers and sisers. Whew!!! Then I opened up QIAD and yippee, we are finally able to get on our forum.

Sounds like everyone had the same problem. I am just glad they got it fixed, whatever was up.

Suzette, so sorry about your troubles. I hope you will keep us all posted. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Fishing wasn't so great today, but we have better hopes for tomorrow.

It's nice to have the grocery shopping done. Frig is full of fruits and vegi's. I opened my bag of potatoes and knew right away, I had a bad one inside. Low and behold, one bad one does infect others. I washed all of them, then let them dry again on paper towels before I put them away in the cupboard. Boy, bad potatoes really stink!!!

I cooked chicken breasts last night. I was shocked at how much they shrunk!!! They fill our meats with so much water these days. It is pitiful!!!

I am off to get my vegi's sliced and cleaned and ready for our yummy salad tonight.

Have a nice evening, all of you.

Good evening, I couldn't get QIAD to come on this morning either, not sure what t he problem was.
We are back from the days excusion. Visited a sweet quilt and yarn shop. I bought 3 yards of black print for a Kim Deihl quilt. and a few fat quarters that were $1.50 and then we went to the casino...we came out 40 bucks ahead and the 6 of us came out with $10 each in free fuel so we put it all in our gas tank...since Ken does all the driving,

we are home now waiting for ribs to get done and red roasted potatoes and ratatouilli. It was a beautiful day here,,,,70s and sunny,,,,we did have lunch at the Soo Locks...and watched a frieghter go through. Very great day. Hope your day was happy too XXXOOO

Home again, home again! It is always good to be back home! David is having to step right back into his role of handy-man; he is replacing a dishwasher, repairing a lawn tractor and evaluating a car problem. That's why I love him. I had Elizabeth light a candle to try and get rid of the burned motor smell from the dead dishwasher.
