SBS sew-a-long WEEK ONE

Post by Tess » Sun Sep 01, 2013 11:48 am

OK Vicky, I hear you. Thanks for the good idea..

Each week when I post the new block pictures, I will start a new thread. It will be titled--"SBS sew-a-long pictures" WEEK ONE, WEEK TWO, and etc. Hopefully I'm not confusing anyone.

Pretty blocks ladies. I can't wait to get going on mine. It will have to wait until my days off. Lori

I made the True Lovers Knot and did not like the way it turned out....I think I'm going to remake it with all squares and applique the small square over the seams. This is an auspicious beginning (or so Emily says with a laugh)
I hope they don't all give me trouble, I've never been a big one on Y-seams.

Vicky, make your block anyway you want. This is YOUR quilt.

Izzy snowballed her corners and her block is beautiful. If we snowball the corners, it makes a square---no y seams. It's much more simple. Why not try her method?
