Welcome ALL to the SEPTEMBER Lotto - as my sister said ... And so it begins ... which means the changing of the Leaves and the beginning of Brilliant Fall colors. A HUGE Thanks to all the Pals who helped me find the info I was looking for so now we are ready!!!
We have made the Maple leaf block in the past BUT I am stepping it up a notch and giving you a CHALLENGE BLOCK and 2 sizes of the Maple Leaf. When you piece all 3 of these blocks in one quilt it makes for a stunning quilt for all to enjoy Lots of way to win tickets!!!

when you see the pattern scroll down to see the video and lower for the instructions. *Because this is a 10.5" block please send a 2.5" x 23" strip for the winner to sew on which 2 sides she prefers. The pattern does come with a 4.5" template to size a section but it can be done without it. Look closely at the picture to see.

I guess I am confused. I have made 4 - 12.5 blocks. How many blocks do I need. Do I get the small blocks from the video. Help!!!

Hi Pat - WOW you are quick. Sorry for the confusion. Let's see if I can get you going again.

The Quilter's Cache instructions are for the Maple Leaf block.
Each section of the 12.5" Maple Leaf Block will be 4.5" before you sew together
Each section of the smaller 6.5" Maple Leaf Block are made the same way as above but will start with 2.5" strips before you sew together.

The video will help you make the QIAD Autumn Block. Scroll down a bit lower than the video and click on the written instructions (2nd picture from the left) to print and help you. Then watch the video again while looking at the instructions. I LOVE the way it is color coded for each section of the block. All will be clear

LOVELY Mary - Great to see you and great colors!!!! Can't tell if these are the 6.5" or the 12.5". I am hoping for equal amounts of each but especially a few of the Challenge Autumn block.
