Good news on DD: We went to dr. The rash on legs wasn't shingles thank goodness cause she just got over a batch in early summer on her face that still is a lil noticable and dr agreed that was shingles then. Legs he thinks is heat or a reaction to something she came in contact with. Looks a wee bit better today. She went to center and nurse was watching it there too.

I didnt know they had such a shot til I was waiting at pharmacy for her new script for previcid. And saw a brochure on it. HUMM going to ask the dr next time we are in to see if a candidate for that. Poor thing has had them twice once they were on her back and this year her face.

Well work went better today. Because I avoided the computer LOL so that means twice as much input of notes tomorrow. oh well I enjoyed the day:)

Just got home and am exhausted. Ketchup did get thick but cooked all day yesterday and I must say quite yummy. Not as smooth as store bought but very tasety:)) Got a gallon of it LOL I also got 3 quarts of juice from tomatoes when I strained it before cooking down so that was a plus.

Going to make bread and cinnimon rolls tonight. DH loves the rolls and requested some. He has been working evenings due to taining in morning so he deserves some yummies when he gets home.

Plan to sew on dresdens tonight DH has 9 courses to take online for training too. YUK. the funny part is he is getting trained on what we live day to day with :)

Well going to change and get some bread made to rise:))

God Bless and happy thoughts.
Izzy

Yeah to Mom6 for finishing those leaves:)) I know your happy:)

Grammie wild turkey can be a lil tougher than farm raised; my DH is hunter and we love game meat. I have learned how to cook venison so that its like beef we only do roasts in venison. I do not like it ground into burger very gamey that way. Turkey I only cook breast meat like chicken nuggets. Fry up in lots of oil on stove YUMMY:)

Chickie come water and weed here too please flower beds have gotten taken over and strawberry patch in dire need of weeding. Will have to wait til fall and rain to help pull easier:))

Well we are up to 120 yards of dirt and still need another 25 yards! They are almost finished back there - the last dirt will be delivered tomorrow morning and taken back there - then we have to shovel the street area clean of the dirt that the little tractor can't scoop up. It is also starting to rain! Oh well .......

Congrats Vicky - that is one step closer to being done!

Dropped off the Christmas quilts to the shop for their wall of classes - we will finish them later.

Very strange looking out my window here in the sewing studio and to not see the great wall anymore - just dirt and soon to be grass.

Off to finish getting stuff ready for my little girls this afternoon -

Hugs
Jana

Chriss About DD and communication: No she has no real means of communication: sad to say Here I am a speech therapist and have a nonverbal dd with no communication system:)Not that we didnt try over the years she just couldnt do it. She is very concrete in thinking an apple is an apple. She doesnt understand that a picture can represent an object therefore she cant use a communication device. She doesnt know letters or numbers so cant write either. her fine motor is poor and struggles using even a spoon. She can use a fork after we stab the food. coordination and sight together are funny:) she never looks down at anything except her books.:) so walking feeding or anything of that nature is done out of habit. I never move furniture in the house cause she would refuse to enter the room for a week until she blue prints it back in her brain and then she will fuss at you. :)

When she was a teen ager I decided pink bunnies was too juvenile for her room and repainted and rearranged. She wouldnt go in her room unless it was bed time and we took her in there and put her to bed LOL. So now her room stays the same no matter what. I have her paint swatch so can always match it LOL

You know the saying Mommas always know what their kids are saying well that is true here. DH and I just know. Her brother too. She is so easy going that its just routine now.

Sorry I answered your question with a book.:)

Thank You Izzy for all your information. It helps us understand more of how very hard it must be for her to have something so uncomfortable that she doesn't understand nor able to convey her thoughts or questions.

It's amazing how well you all do understand her needs, etc.

Thank You for sharing with us.
