Good Morning.....

I'm still on Long Island. We seen the Dermatologist, the Hematologist, and the kidney Dr next Tues. We also saw her Primary Dr.
They all agree they have never seen anything like this. Even thought she is in a great deal of pain I see the areas scabbing over as a good thing with new skin underneath. It has a name I just can't say it let alone spell it.

Suzette.....I agree with the others. He needs to see his Dr or the hospital again. I will keep you & your HD in my prayers.

To all my other quilting buddies....I miss you(((((HUGS)))))

Love & Prayers................Kathy

Good Morning Girls

YIPEE It's Saturday!!! My favorite day of the week! It's simply gorgeous here this morning and after a couple more cups of coffee I'll be ready to start my day... if I can figure WHERE to start!

The TO-DO list is quite long, kitchen to clean, floors to wash, laundry to do, lawn to mow, weeks to whack! toilets to scrub, carpet to vac. AND most importantly.... a nap to take! If I get all that done today, tomorrow is sewing day, with maybe a quick trip to get groceries!

Suzette... will keep your DH in prayers today... so scary when there's personality change like that. You've gotten some good advice here, so I won't add any more... just to let you know I'll be thinking of you today. Silly as this sounds, while I'm out riding my lawn mower.. that's when I pray!

Judi...Glad you had a good time at the quilt show. I saw some pictures posted on FB by AQS and I looked for you! Sure would be nice if they had a show like that in Minneapolis. There's a big "sewing" show in November that I just might go to this year.

Sharon...so you are moving? I checked Google Earth and see that you are way south! My BFF's parents live in Parker. I'd love to move--but the thought is just so over whelming... especially packing up my fabric stash! That alone could take one U-Haul truck!

Izzy... isn't it amazing what you can find...Silk Night gowns? ohh la la! Are you going to model them for your DH?

Lois... have you seen the skirt pattern at Missouri Star Quilt CO? There's a great tutorial on how to make a little girl skirt using a charm pack! So easy! Enjoy your day school shopping.. I remember taking my 3 all at once and getting done and over with! Sears & JCPenney loved me at back to school time!

Lori... I'm going to sew something TOMORROW... but first I have to FIND my sewing room...

Kathy... prayers continue for your DD too.. that the skin heals well and pain subsides.

Well gals, the coffee is kicking in... time to turn up some tunes and rock those chores! The sooner I get them done, the sooner I can play!
Think I'll spin around in a circle and which ever direction I land, that's where I'll start.

Hope y'all have a grand and glorious day!

Suzette oh gotta love adavan:)) We used it a lot in rehab with our stroke patients. So glad your back at hospital and he is resting. WIll keep you in my prayers.

Ok went out to garden DH said had more beans: Picked another 5 gall bucket and can you believe those darn things are blooming again. This crazy weather is making them think they just were grown LOL Oh my you all know I have picked 5 times now. I think we have gotton a total of 25 or 30 gal of beans off those bushes. Ohhhhhh. I also picked 30 hot pepper sand 20 tomatoes; and 25 cukes. gonna be busy in a bit. Had to come in and take shower was out there for 2 hrs picking.

Will can peppers but I think going to make homemade spaghetti sauce and noodles for supper:) Also get my cukes in salt water to brine for sweet pickles. They have to sit and get yukky for 10 days:)

Then off to sewing room I promise to sew something today:))

OOPS forgot. Kathy so glad DD is a bit better. I bet those drs are amazed at it the way you describe it. Poor girl.

Maryq can you believe the gowns still fit. Althought I got married at 18 and now am 45 and two kids later--not as flattering LOL Gravity works:));
