Hello everyone! I am a new subscriber and a new quilter. I am learning alot about quilting...it is very addicting....seems like I breathe, eat and sleep quilting! LOL I look forward to meeting everyone on here and chatting. I so love to chat. I am basically retired from the workforce and stay at home. I am in the process of working on my first lap throw quilt. I am making these for my daughters for Christmas. I also do alot of hand embroidery and then make those into quilts. Well it is nice to chat with everyone. Blessings!

A hearty welcome to all of you newbies. I am not new, but CFIDS takes me away from my quilting.

Whatever quilt site you're on, check in corner for facebook logo, then twitter, most shops I found this month in my new computer has tutorials, where I learnt many many things, went to purchase a sewing foot for my machine to try my luck at darning foot..

Like you, when I 1st started in guild mtgs. I went home wondering what I was doing there, Charm Squares pinned to their garment, walking around, twosies, threesies a whole new language. 4patch, 9ptch everything was crazy... Now, I look at a new member and laugh, for I know the feeling. Never thought 15yrs later at still be going to meetings, learning daily and wanting more...
