My latest project that I did in a day!

Post by ericthequilter » Sun Jun 30, 2013 5:16 pm

I started this project a few days ago. I got inspired to do this in one day after reading a Quilt in A Day book.

I never saw this pattern before or did you use one? This is fascinating. One of those quilts you could stand in front of and admire for a long while. Gives me an idea for some of my stash of left over strips. Great job.

I was so excited over your quilt, I forgot my manners. Welcome to this forum, Eric. You will love it here. We are friendly, caring, and always helpful if you have any questions. Someone usually knows the answer. And we have a Prayer Garden thread over in chit chat if you or a family member needs prayer in time of need.

May God bless you as you quilt and inspire us all. And Eleanor Burns has a weekly show on RFD or you can watch her videos on this forum too. She makes it so simple even old folks like me can understand it and actually make pretty blocks the easy way

Sending hugs and welcome again across the miles. Can't wait to see what else you are doing quilt wise. Thanks for inspiring us all. Shirley Mae

I did not use a pattern, I just slowly, but surely kept cutting and sewing in new strips of fabric. It took up all of my day, but it wasn't too hard to sew.
