Maryz - the idea I have in my head for mine is to sash each block with cornerstoines and on the sashine I was going to embroider the month all around the block......that way it adds mor width and length so it should turn out a nice throw size for the sofa

Maryz.. I will do a 6 inch calendar block swap after the first of the year..I think this quilt will be a throw for me...

Mary Z- I didn't think of making small quilts and changing them out each month. Hmmmm... Now I have more to think about. That is a great idea. I am not sure what I will do.

My package arrived today

Thank you all so much girls, I've had a quick look and they are all lovely I'm just rushing (as best I can) to get ready for a funeral at lunchtime, so I will have a proper good look later but from what I've seen, I love them all, gonna have so much fun putting this together

Chriss, I don't know. Either they haven't scanned the # to update it (which happens very often) or it is stocked at the customs. May be they will arrived today??

Just got back from the post office... WOO HOO!!! my blocks are here!!! They all are so beautiful !!! Thank you everyone!

HAH!!! do you see that .. our blocks have flown to two countries and all over this USA and arrived at their destination just one week after the official end of the swap.... you girls amaze me.
