Its Christmas In August! My blocks arrived today and they are all awesome!! Thank you all so much. I couldn't wait to open them and look at them quickly before I came here to let you know they arrived. It was a quick look but I am amazed that it doesn't look like there are any duplicate fabrics from anyone. They are going to go together perfectly!!
I do have to apologize though because I got 2 of my own blocks back and they are different than everyone else's. I don't know how I got them turned around, but then I had 2 I miscut here and they are right?? I'm hoping I only got those 2 wrong and the one's Mary and Valerie got are right. If not, I'm so so sorry.
Now to go play some more and get them sewn together. I was going to make table runners for Christmas presents but then I decided they were too special, from MY friends, and I' making myself a lap quilt so I can feel like you're all giving me a hug when I need one.

Ruth:
I know just how you feel! When I was a winner, it was just like receiving a Christmas present. It has so much meaning to know that all our friends from near and far put love into their blocks.
I made a special quilt for our bed with my February Lotto blocks.

I still think of all my friends everytime I snuggle up in the warmth.

I am glad to hear your excitment and know that you are so thrilled.
Can't wait to see pictures of your special quilt.
