Oh Velda - After looking at the picture you sent in the email I see that you got hit with the frog bug also. I am so sorry. I am hopign that you did nothing before I responded because the blocks you said you were going to fix is actually the CORRECT Pile. The pile on the left side when facing the picture needs to be fix.
I was hopin my "HEADS-UP" was going to catch the rest of you. You are right. They do need to be fixed and it is alot easier for you to fix a few then to have to fix LOTS when you receive them as a winner. When you put them all together you will loose the pattern if it is not correct. I sure hope everyone else caught it. It is an easy mistake to make.

**** WHEN you WATCH the VIDEO ... or even before the video starts ... look at Jenny's hand with the ring on her finger. That is the way the block is supposed to look after you sew the 2 5"+ halves together. The other is the same it is just turned.

It is 2:07am and I am off to bed. It is so hot here I am even sweating in the early morning with the coolers on and the fans going full speed. Might be needing another try at changing the body so it will get up EARLY instead of going to bed early LOL!!!!

HUGE HUGE HUGS to you as you fix your blocks :) :) :)

I have 7 done but made a cutting error so need to go recut half a square. I started with cutting my own 10 inch square a little big but that seemed to just mess me up with measurements further along.

Valerie - Glad to hear you are doing OK and have everything under control. Not sure how it would mess you up but I have total faith you are handling it well.

I think next month I will give you all a super hard block. You should have no trouble at all ... just kidding even though it is true. Sometimes it is the easier things we do in life that stump us.

I got everything corrected ( or should I say, I hope they are all corrected), and off in the mail they went. Teresa, hopefully you will get them by the first of the week.

Lots of blocks to shuffle around this month. Very interesting block, I think I would like to try this in just a two color selection, or maybe 4 color. It doesn't have to be scrappy.

Very fun block, even though we got a little twisted. Maybe our "early" mistakes will save the rest from having that problem. They will be much more careful putting the blocks back together.

Velda - very happy to hear you are now untwisted and all is well and they are on the way to me. You might change you mind when you see all the blocks put together. This is a beautiful pattern for scrappy. I have a Fall one we made either last year or might have been the year before. I love bringing it out and remembering it was made from all the blocks that my Cotton Pals sent me for the Lotto. Indeed a great month to WIN!!

Better get mine done soon. Sure would love to WIN this month so I had better get my poem in to get more tickets :) :) :)

Jacquie - I am amazed at how quickly your blocks FLEW over to my home. The fabrics are delightfully Christmas. I always wonder what my 6" block will look like. It is adorable and I LOVE BLUE and the fabrics are PERFECT!!! THANK YOU SEW MUCH! It is a joy to have you back. You were missed greatly :) :)

Sorry I am lagging. Have been pre-occupied with new great-grandbaby. Picture of her (and me) in quilting photo's under OT great grandbaby #6. I have made this block before and it is a quickie (as long as I pay attention and sew them right!). They will be in the mail soon.

Ruth - DOn't be silly. Of course you have to spend time with the wee little one. What a HUGE BLessing. I saw the picture and got tears in my eyes. It is still very early in the month. Blocks don't need to be to me until the last day of the month so you ahve at least 2 1/2 weeks to go. Huge Hugs sent to all of you and cuddles and kisses to the little one.

Valerie - Thanks for the update! Hope you enjoyed all the Christmas Cheer and that you are doing well :) :) :)

Velda - Your blocks arrived today. I LOVE YOUR FABRIC CHOICES especially the Gold!!!!! Thank you, thank you also for the sample block. I love the fabrics in this pattern. I need to find the posting of the picture of all the blocks made. We did this pattern last year I think in December but I will check for you. I like it better in 4 fab's than in the 5 we did. Very pretty!
