HAPPY FATHER's DAY to all your Dad's both here and in Heaven.
I will be taking my DH down to Ontario Mills Mall to meet up with his DD and her friend. They are heading back to AZ from a wedding and she wanted to have lunch with her Dad.
I just learned a HUGE lesson in buying blocks from Ebay. I am so hoping that I can get my money back or I will be doing alot of frogging and that will not make me smile.
Hope you all have a blessed Sunday enjoying your Dad's. HUGE HUGS and PRAYERS.

Good morning Teresa and Lois.
Teresa what is Frogging? And what kind of blocks did you buy?
Lois Spareribs sound yummy.
I'll probably just order in a pizza for DH. Don't know what his kids have planned. They asked if I was planning anything. I felt like saying it's father's day, not husbands day. I do plan on going up to see my dad when I get up this afternoon.
Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Sunday Morning from the campground. It stormed all night. and is cloudy and looking like more rain. I will make breakfast this morning and we will head into town to pick up the kids. hopefully their Mom packed well for them. If it is a rainy day we will most likely watch movies and color and make pictures. or Pa might find someplace to go...we shall see.
I brought my hexxies to work on so I am good...
My 2 Sons are up north fishing and DD is in Key West so Ken will have a quiet father's day. 3rd son will call from maine. He always does.
well have a good day and pray the weather clears up so this camper doesn't get too small for 3 kids xxxooo

Happy Father's Day to all the dads in all our lives!
TERESA - I never thought to look on e-Bay for blocks. My kids did buy me a pieced top for my birthday a few years ago from Etsy. I loved the top (it was all cats. >^^<. But the stitches were so long you could have used them as gathering stitches! so I had to sew fast before it unsewed itself. And many of the corners were cut off. I guess it's buyer beware when buying from the internet. Sorry you got burned.
LOIS - I do hope you'll share some photos of your QOV!
LORI - Frogging is un-sewing. You rip it and rip it and rip it. Get it?
JUDI - happy camping in a shrinking RR on a rainy day with three wee ones!! Been there, done that! Have you heard any more about your nephew in Colorado Springs?
I talked to Cindy yesterday and she said their friend, Ed, was taken by ambulance to the hospital, is in ICU with atrial fibrillation, and not doing well. They are doing a few tests today and tomorrow, but doctors have told him to make sure his will is updated.
We will hit the road this morning with our friends, and travel about 5 hours to eastern WA to spend the night at a winery over there. (just one of the 200+ wineries in ea. WA.) The winery owners are joining us for dinner and we'll be grilling chicken. I'll make lemon fried rice and pear/blue cheese/walnut/romaine salad. and I'm sure there will a bottle of wine or two opened. ;o}
Tomorrow, we're on to Northeast OR and we'll be there for a week at our Arctic Fox RV Rally. You all behave this week, and know I've got my 3-headed dragon, Puffy, chained to my stash!

Good morning!
Happy Father's Day to all - I like how Teresa said it. We won't do much here either. Teresa - I know your DH will enjoy lunch with his DD. I'm curious also to what blocks you got from Ebay.
Lois - sounds like your DH is set for the day.
Lori - I had to laugh about the husband's day comment. So true! Frogging is when you have to rip out stitches.
Judi - have a grand time with the grands. Sure hope the weather clears up.
My applique class was WONDERFUL. The teacher is, as he said, an AWQ (award winning quilter). He showed us the quilt he's entering into Houston - it's of a momma bird with a beak full of worms feeding her baby. Simply amazing - he only makes one quilt a year - 40 x 60, all hand-appliqued. I'm not sure what today will bring, but it's Sunday so I get to start of with church. Have a blessed day! xoxo Sharona

Good Morning and Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers out there. Not anything planned here either I will fix him his favorite meal. He doesn't have kids of his own, so the Furrbabies got him a nice gift! They will give him lots of "lovin" when he gets up, I am letting hime sleep late~! :>) My youngest son came and took him out for lunch on Friday not sure if any of the others will do anything or not since he came into their lives late. Losing their Dad suddenly was very traumatic for them.
I am not sure what I will do today probably a little sewing, I did get quite a bit accomplished yesterday at DD. Had a nice visit heard all about her horrendous experience with the deer! Thank God she was in the Jeep had she been in small car it would have been a different story. She is fine.
I am hoping we will get some rain today, its muggy out but I watered my tomatoes just in case.
Gee Teresa sorry about your blocks I've wondered about that cause you are basically buying sight unseen can't always tell much from photos.
Hope you get your money back. I did buy a panel like thing & was truly disappointed with it. Not sure where they get some of their stuff.
Well I will close for now Everyone have a great day!!!!

Good Morning Girls
OMG what a beautiful day!! Not a cloud in the sky and the birds are singing!!! I think summer has finally arrived in MN.. and it's about time! I think it just might be safe for me to take my big old snow boots out of my car!
Yesterday I got the lawn mowed, unplugged one of the gutter, all by myself, cleaned up sewing room, vac'd whole house, took my nap, and made myself a big old bowl of cold tuna salad for supper! Today I'm debating about doing some more work in the yard, bought some mulch for the garden and some black dirt and grass seed. OR just staying in, and sewing while Mr. Maytag does his thing! I just feel like I haven't sewed anything in so long.. I miss it!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Dad's in your life.. whether here or in heaven. Today I miss my Dad of course, but am so proud of my sons and the Father's they are! Will call them later to wish them happy day!
Teresa... sorry to hear you are so disappointed in your E-bay purchase.. I've been looking for Italian Charms for my bracelet, but am nervous about ordering them on E-bay... hard to know what you are really going to get. Would love to see the blocks tho if you get a chance to post a picture!
Judi... have a great time with the kids!! Hope the weather stays good so you don't have to spend all your days in the camper! Was it your nephew in CO in the fires? I saw something online about a Jeremy Beach that lost his home.... it wasn't him was it?
Lori... Pizza sounds like a great idea...And isn't every day "Husband's Day"?
Maryz... Thanks for the update from Cindy.. So sorry to hear Ed is not doing well. I hope that the next days are peaceful for him. How fun to stay at a winery and have dinner with the owners! Hope you have safe travels and a happy camping trip!
Sharon... one quilt a year! They must be just works of art.. I'm afraid I wouldn't have the patience to take that long to make a quilt.
Pat.... Your DD was so lucky so wasn't hurt... good thing she did have a big Jeep!
Last night I was sorting through a big tote box of fabric I forgot I had... and I found some I probably won't use... One of these days I'll post a picture of it and if anybody want its... it's yours!
Guess I better get butt in gear and get a couple more uglies done this morning.. maybe work in the yard while it's still cool, then sew this afternoon.
In the meantime... I hope you all have a most wonderful day

Good morning!
Happy Father's Day to all in our lives! They are a great blessing - Father's, Grandfather's, Uncles et al!!!
Church is later this morning - we got the program all done yesterday and it will be a surprise to the Bishop of the Ward - we didn't list the speakers for today - it is his family! His wife and 5 children - ages 8 - 16 - should be quite the surprise for him!
We had a great time with the kids yesterday - dinner was wonderful and after dinner - we put up the small wading pool for the grands to play in - well the big ones got in the water too - Stu was paid by his Uncle Matt, 5 dollars to take the bucket of water and get his mom wet - well that started the family water fight - lots of water and loads of laughs!!! I had base - Emma - so they couldn't get me - though they tried! LOL Then had the fireworks show - the little ones loved it and Tanner cried at the end - because they were all done and he wasn't! Ethan stayed up too - but I think that by the end of the street he was fast asleep.
Today will be quiet here - the kids will go and see the other side of the families - which is fine - I can recover from all the fun!
Still working on my blocks - almost down to just sewing a simple 9 patch together - hopefully today!
Well need to scoot and get breakfast -
Hugs
Jana

Re: June 16th, 2013
Good Morning all! Happy Father's Day to all of our fathers here and in heaven. Will be quiet here today for DH since our DS's live far away. In one month though I will have all of my family here for a visit. I have never had all of my DSs, DIL, and GSs here at the same time since they all out of state not counting all of the times my Marine has been deployed.
Didn't get all of my lawn mowed yesterday because about 3/4 of the way done a bracket broke holding on my mower belt. Will call the repair man tomorrow.
Maryq - I actually only have 4 acres to mow because we have two ponds. I get it done in 2 hours normally, because I have a 60" John Deere Zero Turn mower. I love that baby. I tell people i will give up my DH before my John Deere. We used to have a big JD tractor that my DH mowed with and he was happiest on it. Since he can't mow any more with his cancer I got one I could handle. I get on my mower, put on my music headphones and go. Sounds like you got alot more done yesterday than I did. Good job!
Well, got to go. My asthma is acting up so I am going back to bed for awhile instead of church. Hope God understands. I talk to him everyday so I know he knows.
