Good morning!
Change in plans yesterday - so today is jelly day. And because of that, I don't have time to visit - drat!
Cindyg - I'll say another prayer on my walk this morning for Ed and all of you.
Miriam - I love that you have your grandfather's wheelbarrow in your garden!
ok better run. Have a lovely day, my beautiful quilty friends. xoxo Sharona

Good morning!
Just waiting on my Ethan - don't know the new time schedule as Stu doesn't need to be dropped off at school - so it will probably be a little later. Today is my day to play with the other kids as well - Emma is getting so big - she thinks that she can sit up! She is almost 6 months now.
Got woke up early - the horses next door thought that it would be great fun to knock around things in the pasture before dawn! LOL
Got the budget done last night with DH - even got passed him with a few quilt store charges! Didn't even grumble !!
Chriss - between the State budget crisis and the Feds - I am surprised that you are even as far as you are! We have very high vaulted ceilings and they are painted white - the walls will be a different color - my trim and doors will stay white as well - the ceilings will never get painted again - way too high!!
With my non-Ethan time - I should get the dishwasher emptied - he loves to push the buttons on the door - if there is a button - he will push it! So off I head -
Have a great day - we will cool down to 80 for the rest of the week - just right!
Hugs
Jana
If I ever pre-wash - I do what I call - pre-rinse - it is in the sink with the individual color and look to see if it bleeds - sometimes I use several sink fulls of water and swish around until the color no longer makes the water change - then dry in the dryer and press with Mary Ellen's Best Press. Mostly it is with very overdyed fabrics and reds!

Re: Monday, June 3rd
Good early afternoon from not as warm, overcast, SW. Pa....Live I've said, here in Pa. you never know what the weather might be.....
Kathy is here and I'm loving every minute....Of course there are so many people who want to see her, it's hard to keep up with her...On the way home from the airport, we stopped for lunch and #3 DS and DDIL met us...Then she and I went to see her DS, then last night she went to dinner with another friend and then stopped to see another brother...This morning she met a friend for breakfast, came home long enough to check in and was off to meet another friend for lunch...Later this afternoon, she and I will be leaving for Carlisle..She will stay until Sat. and take care of DD and I will come back tomorrow....Not sure why Jim had a big smile on his face when I told him, he would be alone and the house would be quiet tonight, lol.....From hearing her talk (which has been non-stop since she got here), she really, really loves living in Reno and it doesn't sound like she'll be coming back to this area, any time soon....But, as long as she's happy, that's all that matters....
Chriss, our big house had very, very high ceilings and they sure didn't get painted too often...But, when the kids were all younger, we left them pick out their colors...2 boys shared a room and it was red/white and blue...Wide, r/w/b strips on the walls and a huge star on the ceiling...Kathy's room had a sun in one corner with rays going around the room and another son's room was Irish and I mean IRISH...Jim had hand painted shamrocks all around the top of the walls and of course a huge shamrock on the ceiling...Everything in the room was green/white...He even painted a shamrock on the hamper....Our downstairs rooms were more sedate/normal, lol.....This house, our colors are boring, mostly white.....
Don't you wonder just what takes so long with all these checks etc.? But you have the right attitude, it will be done when it gets done.....
Scrapquilter, How were you able to train your cat to walk with a leash? Our Baby Girl wants to go out so bad but I won't let her unless I'm carrying her, which sometimes doesn't work...I'd love to put a leash on her but it might take me and about 5 other people helping and then we'd need a trip to the ER.....
Well, I best get off this machine, grab something for lunch and throw some clothes in an overnight bag....I'm really anxious to see DGD...I think seeing Kathy has been just what the doctor ordered......
You all have a great day.................

Re: Monday, June 3rd
well court is long over... it takes all of 5 minutes for our case... I told Jerry we shouldn't even bother sitting down... we are continued till the FBI check comes back... it really is comical...
I have spent the greater part of my day cutting up scraps.. if it doesn't go into a 2 1/2 inch charm or a 2 1/2 inch strip it goes into a box... I have almost everything cut up..
Marilyn had her school talent show today...she sang acapella (without music) a song called trouble.. there was one little girl who played the piano amazingly well...
Kathy, I wish there were a way to get you to not have to stay at the Ex's house.. but he probably feels akward too... and no, I wasn't a wild hippie, although I did have tie died pink pants with a matching vest... I was an Aggie (cowgirl)...funny huh?
Cindy.. I would never kid about the FBI....lol... isn't it the craziest thing? your tax dollars at work...
Jana.. I am sticking with white cielings and painted walls... we are ysing Behr paint from home depot..I picked dafodill yellow for our bathroom with white trim... we are starting at the far end of the house and working this way... maybe even wood laminate flooring in the kitchen....
O'Dorothy, you really are having fun...it is wonderful to be you..glad you all are having a blast.
you all have a good night,
Chriss
