Just wanted to thank you all for the prayers. My neighbor passed during the night and is at peace....Her husband and son stopped over this morning to tell us...They both said, it's going to be very hard but know that she's no longer suffering and in a much better place.....Thank you all again.....

Prayers for all the requests today and this month. May God be with those sitting at the bedside of an elderly or ill loved one. May you and your loved ones know peace and comfort and be surrounded with the support of many angels. May you all feel the hugs and warmth and caring in knowing that so many are praying for you and your families.

So much sadness and illness in the world today. May God give us all strength and courage and hope for all our tomorrows. May we put aside our own problems if we can, and reach out to those who need us so badly today. If we are in need, dear Lord, then let us find the love and support of others. Prayers are so powerful and miracles do exist today all around us. And remember, God has a plan for each of us.

Sometimes all we can do is pray or sit and wait. And as for the right words, there are none that speak so loudly as to hold someone's hand, to gently caress their forehead or hand, and to give them a gentle hug. Tell them you are praying for them and you love them, and just be there. If you feel the need to say something, pray about it and let God guide your words.

May God be with all of you today and always. Sending love, hugs, and prayers of support that God will provide for all your needs. Thanks for asking for prayers for your loved ones. Praying for someone by name seems so special to me. And thank you too for all your updates. Prayers of thanks are important too. God bless, Shirley Mae

Prayers for my son and his family. They are starting today to drive home from Camp Pendleton to visit us. Doug said he wanted to drive and see some of the country he has been defending all these years. Just pray for a safe trip please.

Sherry, I'm praying for safe travel for your son and family. Please tell him I thank him for his service to our country!

My grandson Camden has Wolf Hershhorn Syndrome. Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome (WHS) refers to a condition that is caused by a missing part (deletion) of the short arm of chromosome 4. This missing genetic material results in severe developmental delays, a characteristic facial appearance, and may include a variety of other birth defects. Camden is 11 years old but still only weighs under 50 pounds, cannot walk alone, talk, feed or dress himself. He is still like an infant. He is a very happy little guy but has a very low immune system. Currently he has strep throat and herpes virus sores in his throat and on his lips. It is painful for him and he won't eat or take a bottle. Please pray for him for recovery, freedom from pain and that God's grace will rest on him. He doesn't know what is happening to him and it is just so sad and heartbreaking.

Thank you in advance for your prayers.

May God be with all and provide for your needs today. May you all receive showers of blessings, cooler days ahead for all those in the heat warning areas, and especially comfort and peace and hope for our loved ones who are ill and their families at their bedsides.

No matter how busy I am each day, I still take time to read this thread and pray for you all. Sending love and hugs and and daily prayers for each of you across the miles. Shirley Mae

PS I would like to add my thanks to Sherry's son and all our military for serving our country and for the sacrifices they and their families make for all of us in the name of freedom and love of country. My SIL just retired from the air force last weekend after 22 yrs. May God bless all our service men and women in some special way today and always.

I posted elsewhere in chit chat and in sew in about the fires in AZ. We need prayers for all of AZ. 19 firefighters were killed tonight and about 200 homes have been burned in a small town nw of Phx, AZ, ar Yarnell, AZ.

We also just received a weather alert on phone about a fast approaching dust storm, with very little visibility. Warned to stay home and off streets and roads. Four fires burning not far from Phx right now. Rain a possiblibity but we get dry lightning that starts many of the forest and brush fires in AZ.

I will try to update in morning but it is on the natl news already. May God bless and keep you all and especially the fire victims and their families here in AZ.

Sending hugs and prayers with a sad, heavy heart tonight. Shirley Mae
