Good morning!

It is a bright and beautiful day here - but the rain is coming this afternoon - and will be here for a day or so, but it makes all the flowers bloom, so I am good with that!

I almost have my house back - I worked on the kitchen yesterday - moving things to different cabinets and cleaning the shelves etc. I am making the kitchen much more efficient - that takes me awhile - need to see how tings work in there. I think that this will be much better.

After we get the Church bulletin printed this morning - I think that I can finally go out and look for the bookcases that are needed here.

Michael let his blood sugar drop way to low last night - 40! Thank goodness I have Orange juice in the house - brought it back up quickly and I will keep a close eye on his eating today! He gets working and forgets to eat until it is too late.

We are going to the kids for a traditional Easter dinner tomorrow - I just have to make the potatoes.

Well I am off to fix breakfast - I might get to sew today - I sure hope so!!

Hugs
Jana

Good Morning Girls

Y'all don't know how glad I am that it's SATURDAY! It's cloudy and rainy here today and I MUST get out for some groceries, but I have one thought that is sticking in my head this morning
"some days you're the bug, some days you're the windshield" Today I feel like the BUG! Didn't sleep all that great last night, this work thing still bothers me a lot! It's zapping my energy big time and I just feel like crawling back into bed. I can't shake the feeling that they are trying to make me quit. I sure would if I could afford to. If my boss would have been in the office yesterday I had planned to go talk to him. It's a new guy and he is much easier to talk to than the "old" guy. Maybe Monday!

Chriss... Oh yeh, there is discipline policy.. and I guess I wouldn't mind so much about getting written up if others were too... for same mistakes I've made. I could go on a rant for hours about how they do things. We are super busy and get more work dumped on us all the time, with little additional help. Even the pharmacist's are stressed. I hate feeling scared and afraid every day when I go to work. Will definately add your son to my prayer list for his interview!

Maryz...congrats on getting that bathroom painted.. You wanna come and do mine! Hey if I get fired, I'll have lots of time to paint and SEW! I'll be dancing with Mr Maytag myself today.

Joan... Teresa is an awesome Words Player... She beats me every time. I have about 4 or 5 games going at the same time with a couple friends. When I checked this morning I have 2 games with NO VOWELS! I've made that Angel/Pineapple cake... couldn't get any easier than that! A little Cool Whip on top would be perfect.

Velda...lots of prayers for safer travel back to Illinois! Will it take you a couple days to get "home"? I'm bad at taking my vitamins... I keep my vitamin D and B-12 at work that's the only place I remember to take them! Having a bone density test is also on my "to do" list...

Suzette...glad you had fun at your class. One of these days I'd like to try it again.

Lois,... hope your hours at work go fast and you can get back to playing!

Kathy... hope the sun shines for you today so you can porch sit for a little while and enjoy the melting of the snow!

Teresa.... thanks for the Lotto Win! Somebody knew I needed a "pick me up" Hope Rob feels better after his meds kick in.

Welll girls, I better get a move on.. Think I'll turn on the rockin' music and "SNAP OUT OF IT" and get motivated... maybe go down to my happy place (sewing room) and work on Baby Boy quilt! Only 5 weeks to go! Jen went to Dr. yesterday and all is good!

Have a great day every one!

Good late morning from sunny, sunny, Sw. Pa...It's only in the high 50s but, it's sunny.....Now, for tomorrow, they're saying rain, ugh! But, as I was sitting here looking at what hopefully will soon be all green, I saw a tiny patch of pink flowers, right there in the middle of the flower bed...I have no idea what they are but they sure are welcome......

Not really much happening in this neighborhood today...Just a little ugly stuff and baking....I'm making an upside down pineapple filled cake and of course my wild looking candy.....

Jim went to the Post Office and came home waving an envelope...He said, change your clothes we're going shopping....We got our tax return and of course, it's not worth changing my clothes...I'm not even sure both of us could eat at McDonald's, lol.......But, I also got a quilting magazine, so this is a lucky day......

I've read through all the posts but I'm not going to attempt to "talk" to you all....I'm sending best wishes and happy thoughts to all and prayers for those who are in need....

Have a great day...................

Good afternoon all! It isn't real warm here in Northwest Ohio, but at least the sun is shining. That at least makes me feel more like doing something.

Maryq - I understand how you feel. The last year before I retired they kept threatening all of us Dept. Heads to be written up. I got through it, but I feel for the ones still there. The company would like to get rid of the highest paid people. They only hire part-time people now. Hang in there. I will definately keep you in my prayers. Don't forget we are all here if you need to blow off steam. We support each other.

Jana- I hope Michael feels well soon. My DH and I both have diabetes. Luckily our blood sugars don't run high. DH's nurse that comes to change his catheter told him the best thing to keep by his bed at night for a low blood sugar is Mountain Dew. (NOT diet) It is just loaded with sugar. I know it has worked for him when he has needed it.

Maryz - Have fun at Costco. You are brave to go shopping the day before a holiday. LOL

Teresa - Hope Rob feels better soon. Hope the Vitamin D works for you. I have had kidney stones so Vitamin D and Calcium are vitamins I don't need. My low vitamin problem is potassium even though I eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Congrats to all of the lotto winners. I need to find out about how this works so I can may-be join in.

Well better go. Everyone have a Happy Easter.

Sherry

Joan - I didn't pick you - the "Hand of the Picker" picked you and we had 3 different hands this month :) :) :)

Suzette - I have found that if I am really careful with cutting the twisters I can get 4-patches out of the leftover fabric. Otherwise you are right it would waste alot of fabrics.

Velda - What a wonderful way to spend you last day at the RV park. Lots of food, fun and fellowship. Pics please :) :)

Joan - Prayers for you hubby. Sinus are whoppers when they are acting up. My sister and I were very competitive when it came to Scrabble and Backgammon. My Courtney and I are the same way. DH won't play with me cause I always win even when i try not to. I am glad we found Rummikub to play. He has beat me a number of times. Courtney got us hooked on that game. easier to play with the tiles but you can play it with 2 decks of cards as well.

mary - I saw that flexible ruler and probably would have bought that one to give me options for different sizes. Again if you are very careful not to cut past the edge of the ruler you can use the extra fabric for 4-patches. I used my small rotary cutter.

Whoops company here, got to run - BLESSINGS for a wonderful day!!!!!
