Ok, you bribed me into trying this poem thing again. Funny, though, this morning, I got all creative and jotted down a ryhme and just as I was about to send, my computer shut down on it's own for an update. No warning, nothing, just bang! and my poem was gone.

Well, needless to say, I was upset. I should have composed it on paper first, so that poem is gone, bye, bye!!!

But, I started over and this one, though not nearly as clever, but it's an entry for a ticket. LOL


March is the month of Spring
The Lotto block this month will bring. . .
Lots of fun for all
who answer the call
So, off to the store for some fabric of green and cream.
Making this fun quilt will be a dream.

You just have to enter
And make a few blocks to "send her"
Then hope your tickets have luck
So the "picker" picks You - (You lucky duck!)
Emerald and greens in shades of dark and light.
So many pretty ones for the winner's delight.


Good Luck to ALL. I can't even dream of being that lucky
two months in a row. But who ever the winners are, I hope you will have even half the fun that I am having in creating a new quilt
from the winning blocks.

I am beginning the quilting today. Hope to have pictures soon to share
again to show my progress.

Velda - I am so sorry to hear you lost the first poem. That used to happen to me BUT I learned to type in word and save often and then cut and paste. This Poem is an absolutely LOVELY Poetic bribe. You have a true talent for words

Sorry so big. I had to use my phone which I hate as it adds this rose botch in the middle of the picture. The background is all cream like in the corners.
This is a great block to make a "end of the bed" quilt using 12 blocks.
Great wedding gift.

I love this pattern. There is just something magical about how the pattern pops when you put all 4 blocks together. WOW! Those 4 blocks would just be so pretty as a center medalion on a bed quilt!

The cream as the light color looks so good with the rich greens.

The Winners truly will be LUCKY to have these blocks to play with.

Very nice Teresa. Now may I ask, what is an "end of the bed" quilt? I am assuming yes it goes on the end of the bed but why only on the end? I might think about making one.
