I put mine in the sandwich size generic ziplocks and layed a book on them to get all the air out and then zipped/pressed em up and it makes it more roomie in the bag :o) I hope this helps.

Mine are all in their little baggies, all ready to go out...just wanted to make sure that I didn't need to add more.....

For that person that mentioned, I *love* blue, but I did try to have 5 different fabrics in each baggie!!! :D

HI, Finished cutting my charms today. Goes faster if you are using a huge hunk of fabric instead of scraps. I finally figured that out on the last ones I cut. LOL I definitely have a variety. Purple, pink, green, tan, orange, etc.

Now to work on labels and baggies so I can get these all in the mail. And then I can sit down and sing......"Someday my prints will come." Now you can go around singing that song all day. LOL

Have fun ladies. This is so exciting. I love the variety we get out of things like this. Thank you everyone who is participating.

Do we need to send in 22 now instead of 20? I guess we wouldn't send one to ourselves would we. Guess I ask too many questions.

Hugs, Shirley Mae

Oh Shirley Mae I so agree with you but it took me just a bit for the light to come on. Then I picked 5 colors that went with each other, laid them on top of one another and then cut. Went so much faster but I did have some fabrics that that I could only get one 5" strip from. Then the left-over went into the scrap box - Yea - More room in the closet for some new fab's!!!!

If I am understanding this right - 9 pals will recieve 2 of your bags and 2 pals will receive 1 - Is that right Lori? I know you have it all worked out but I was just curious how one would organzi (french for organize-LOL) this swap.

Mine are all cut and being packed up tonight. Should be getting them in the mail tomorrow or Sat by the latest - YEA!!!

It should be 20 bags per person. You send 20, I send you 20 back. If you only send 18, I'll send 18 back. I don't put the same fabrics in every bag. There's usually plenty different fabrics trade.

Jacquie, I'll add you to the group. You don't have to wash. Just note on the bag whether the fabric has been washed or not. I used both washed and unwashed together in quilts and never had a problem.

There's a sale at one of the local quilts shops this weekend. I will have to go and find some pretty fabric to share.
