FEBRUARY Block LOTTO: DISAPPEARING 4 Patch - All delivered :) :)

I rec'd my blocks today! I'm not posting a photo of them because it would look identical to the ones already posted. But all are beautiful and I thank you all!

Here is what I am working on to make my quilt from my Lotto Blocks.
I am framing each square with black TOT and I found this cute fabric with hearts in Black n White to do corner blocks. I am so excited.
Can't wait to start stitching.

Got my blocks all squared up to 13" each. This quilt should go together really quick!

Thank you to all of my pals and friends for entering this Lotto. Your work is fabulous and I can't wait to show you a whole quilt!

Received mine, squaring them up and then will figure out layout.

I have my top about 1/2 way put together. I am doing it in vertical sections. I still have to decide on my batting. I want to find the lightest weight I can or I will put it together with just a backing. Can't make up my mind yet. When I do quilt it I am going to do it in sections and put it together as I go. With big blocks and big sashing and big corner stones, it is going together rather quickly.

I will post pictures when I get all the columns ready to quilt.

Velda, I used flannel for batting in my last quilt. It's still got quilt-like body, but is lightweight and drapes very nicely. I was surprised by how well I liked it.

I appreciate any ideas and suggestions. My friend Lyn (WeeOne) also suggested flannel. I am going to look on QIAD at fabric for the backing. Those sale fabrics look pretty good, if I can get a big enough amount. Haven't really shopped yet, going to ponder a little today.

Velda - Very nice!!! I like the idea of a flannel for the backing. Think I might take a look at Joann's first unless QIAD posts a free shipping soon. I also order a chocolate print fabric for the inside border before I add the strawberries.

*** Some may wonder why Linda's name was switched to Sally's? It is because Linda mails me her blocks very early in the month and I had forgotten that in the note she sent me that Red really isn't her color but she loves to make the blocks for other's to win and asked to leave her name out of the drawing. A number of Pals like to do this so what I do when I get this request is at the end of the month put everyone's name once in a bowl. I then pull names out to give them each one of her tickets. If I have 4 blocks then I pull 4 names.
Because this was my goof and to make it fair for her and all of you is to offer her a month of her choice for winning this month and then gave her tickets away to the rest of the pals who had not won. Added those tickets to the bowl and pulled Sally's name. Luckily I had not thrown all the tickets out yet. My apologize for my goof. I will pay better attention in the coming lottos. HUGE HUGS to you all!!!!

Teresa, Lisa was away at retreat last weekend, so she may not realize that the blocks are there yet. I will see her Thursday and if she hasn't posted yet, I will make her look through her mail.
