Well my SS sure did a good job of keeping herself a secret this year. I got teasers from several addresses and got spoiled rotten!! Thanks so much MaryZ. You are just wonderful! I felt like a kid opening all my presents. MaryZ was REALLY busy making me lots of presents this year. I am just blown away with all hard work that went into all these wonderful gifts. Here is what I got in my package this morning:
I got this wonderful (I'm not sure what it is called) organizer that has needles and pins and ruler and marking pencil and a pocket with beautiful red cardinals fabric and a pattern.
A Bargello woodland retreat quilt pattern, I am so excited to try.
A beautiful book cover that has a book called how to make an American quilt.
A gorgeous cardinal with pine cones Christmas stocking.
A little bag pin cushion. So cute!!
A tissue holder made of beautiful pine cone fabric.
A cute jar of scraps that has a note " Quilters Jam". That is going on my display shelf in my sewing room.
Fusible batting tape. Wonderful I have never tried that and it will be great to use up scraps of batting. Note pads
A belly button lint brush LOL how funny, I guess every quilter needs one of those for all the lint we accumulate.
A large tape measure that goes up to 288" Woo Hoo!
A beautiful ceramic scissor holder that can mount on the wall.
An adorable felt snowman Christmas ornament
A fabric eraser for pencil.
A beautiful bag holder that is made from cabin in the woods fabric.
A set of four snowman Christmas tree napkins
A scissor fob
Batting scraps that will be great for using in a bag project that I want to make.
Thank you so much for spoiling me rotten Mary. You went to a lot of trouble sewing all these beautiful gifts just for me, and in my favorite fabrics!!! I will treasure each gift and use all of them.
Thanks for all the teasers and for the wonderful surprise of the block lotto. You made Christmas for me! :) Merry Christmas, and Hugs Vinae

Well, I know my box arrived because she said it did. So why hasn't she opened it yet??? Maybe the rest of the gals think they have to wait for Christmas.

Sigh

Sharona,

Joe says "thank you very much" for his gift! He was so excited when I showed him my goodies and he spotted the one with his name on it. He kept asking me "now WHO sent this?". It was too cute. He also kept asking if he could REALLY open it now! He just loved it--it was a HotWheels vehicle, well, he called it a Jeep but I think it was a Van. He took it to bowling so he could show all his buddies on his bowling team.

Thanks again for brightening our weekend.

Hugs,
Mel

Carole, I don't know who got your box, but one of the girls posted over in the other thread that she was at a show all day (starting at 6 a.m.) and wouldn't get back until late this evening. She said she would post by 9:30...don't know what time zone, though! LOL

Kathy, I am so happy to hear you got your package in time. I am afraid I was a bit late mailing it out and was worried you would be left waiting. Yes, I made the basket ornament and I made the stocking ornament as well, I am so happy you like it.

My Secret Santa was "June", I don't know what her forum name is. She sent me 3 lovely unfinished quilt blocks that I already have plans for. There is also a larger pieced rectangular piece that will make a great tablerunner once it is finished with the fabric she sent me. I also received a large package of quilter's pins, you can never have enough pins, a Pathway to the Stars quilt pin that will go great with my collection and a Bottle Top Baster which will come in very handy when I grill outdoors. Living here in south Texas, grilling is done year around so it will get plenty of use.

Thanks June for the gifts!

I have had do much fun looking at your SS gifts. Here's my favorite from each:

Vinae - Maryz does know how to blow people away with her gifts. My fave in your batch - that 288" tape measure. I use mine quite a bit.

Sharona - what's a mug organizer? I envy you those fat quarters.

Jacquie - that stocking with Phoebe's picture on it is so special.

Joan - my fave gift in your batch is the table runner pattern.

Mel - you know it! Those purple batiks....and you will love that scrap bag. They are so handy. I have two that Kenderosa made me - one at home and one in the RV.

Chriss - the "Comfort and Joy" cookbook. You know I need all the help I can get when it comes to cooking.

Carole - your sweet roll.

Maryz - your four-panel snowman wall hanging.

Vicky - the chicken and rooster kitchen towel.

I'm going to check back and see if anyone got anything else later on. You were all truly blessed with your gifts. Gosh, we use to have a $ limit....that is obviously gone by the wayside - LOL.

Carole, I know my elf received her box also, but she hasn't posted anything yet either. I keep checking and guess I still will be. Hang in there!

My Santa is Joanne (Joannequilts)from Ohio. I now know why I received my box a month ago and I hope all went well Joanne for you!
Santa Joanne sent me some wonderful things, my Christmas stocking has beautiful red cardinals on it and she new I liked Pretzel M&M's a (BIG) bag. I want to learn to free motion quilt and I wished for the Quilt Pounce that's the chalk to mark the quilt. Santa got it for me. Thank you Santa Joanne
I also got 2 kits from Connecting Threads, one is a tote bag and the other is for 2 pincushion bags and needle books. I LOVE all the colors in each.
I have one excuse for the batteries to be out on my camera so I could not take pictures of the 2 yards of pink gingham flannel Santa sent because the one I needed the flannel for arrived Wed. the 5Th at 9:41 A.M. weigh in at 7lb 10oz and (Gean) that's me just had to take pictures of Leilah and I used up all the battery's. I'll charge them and post pictures later. THANK YOU THANK YOU SANTA Joanne
I LOVE IT ALL. Martha

Hello Everyone........Sorry I am late...had a call to the hosp so had to go. Son is doing better now.

OH MY OH MY Oh MY Gosh......I don't know where to start......this is the first time for me to be in the SS swap!
My SS was Teresa and what a neat pkg she sent me! I wa really shocked as well, I thought sure Maryz had my name since I got the gift for my birthday shortly after she had been to see Miriam and the postmark was Dennis, Ks.....then first teaser I got came from MO. then the other pkg I got came from MN so I was really surpised but OHHHHHHHHHhhhhhh so tickled..................She did good!
Homemade goodies (which I love) handcrafted items (so neat) let see better start from the beginning and hope I don't miss anything she made me a beautiful Tablerunner instead of a stocking (I do love tablerunners) then she wrapped smaller pkgs with tissue paper and tied with strips of fabric ( I thought that was so neat! will use them in something very special) she made me one of those neat plates!!!! (I may have to try those!) a container of Biscotti (homemade and OHHHHHH so YUMMY had with my morning coffee) Teresa need the recipe! please? Choc chips Cookies (again so Yummmy Have to watch Tommy his favorite) a Tin ofAltoids Cinnamon flavored (love these) Box of Celestial Gingerbread Spice Tea ( tomorrow will be a good day for tea suppose to be really cold) MMMMMMMMmmmmmm A Dove dark chocolate candy bar (my very favorite) a bar of Ghiradelli Peppermint Bark (just in time for Christmas too) 2 Hot hands warmers( bet they come in handy!)Oh Goody New Cotton to fodle.....fruitcake (I love the colors now I can make a Charm Tablerunner with these) 2FQ's
one is white on white (never have to many of these) the other is a light teal color with buttons design on it) not sure might make potholder or put in a tablerunner will have to see how they talk to me. FQ of Chritmas fabric that goes along with the Theme of her Tablerunner ( so neat!) then she had Maryq send me a pkg of different notepaper with my name on it some say Christmas Greetings from Pat another says "a note from ScrappyPat" ( that is really cool thanks to you to Maryq...neat idea Teresa I need something like that!) Last but not least is a book, have never read this author before but am looking forward to reading it.....Light From Heaven..also a handcrafted book mark! Beautiful card from Maryq with the note paper
and a lovely written page telling me about herself from Teresa, this is something I probably forgot to do for Jacquie.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TERESA!!!! I love everything you sent and will enjoy it all. You were a super Santa and a sneaky one too! :>)
I do hope those that haven't recieved their pkgs yet will get them soon.
This has been a neat experience. I am going to try and send photos not sure I can if not will send them to Teresa and she can post them/

Merry Christmas All my Cotton Pals!
