Wow, everyone's blocks are fabulous. I can't believe how many of you have already been busy working on them. I hope to get going on mine next weekend. Maybe I'll get a "sample" one done this week to see if it comes out like I have it in my mind! I'll let you know...

Ok well I did a sample of the Peony block and just 1 block took 2 hrs! So I don't think that this will be my choice. I found a star block that I think with some modification will work just fine. I'll make a sample and post and see what you think.

Traci - I had that feeling after making a few for the Lotto. Glad you did try one to check it out. Bet it came out great though for a pillow.

I sent you a PM with some more ideas that might work.
I saw this Christmas Quilt and I love the block that is in the forefront (is that a word?) of the picture.

or the Christmas Tulips

I know you will find the perfect block for you. Plenty of time :) :)

Will see if this works. Block 1 of 21. Friendship star on a wreath. Lots of color possibilities here.

I think I found my block, its the Christmas Tulip block, instead of 2 hrs, it only took 25 minutes! I used some of my scraps to make a practice block and it looks great!

Now to go shopping!

Yeah Teresa! 21 FQ! What a great incentive!

Hey Girls

Here's my gaggle of geese... there really are 20 blocks there but you can't see them all.

Teresa, so I mail 21 to you? Or keep one?

Hi Mary -
Look at you!!!!! ALL MADE!!!!! Yes please, Send me ALL 21 plus a FQ if you are in on the incentive of being the 1st to piece your Christmas quilt. It is easier for me to organize and then count each pile to make sure they have all 21 :)

YEA Traci - so glad you could piece that block easily and quick. It sure did look like a great one to do. Can't wait to see it in Christmas colors!!!

Has anyone seen Robert Kaufman's new "HOLIDAY FLOURISH" line? I've been looking for something for the sashing for this quilt and came across this fabric. It is beautiful!!! Here is a link:
