rag Quilt

Hi! I just love Quilt in a day. I can't wait for each week to come.
I 'm having trouble with a rag Quilt we are doing. The corner with
the 4 blocks is a bunch. Do you have a suggestions? Plese help!!!!

I hope someone will be able to help you, Jody. I have never done a rag quilt, but it is on my 'to-do' list, so I would be interested in the answer, too!

I've done rag quilts, but I'm not sure what you are asking...please be more detailed and I'd love to help you!

Hi Jody,,

do you mean when you sew 4 squares with batting together they bunch in the center? if it is what you mean then unsew a couple of threads so that your four patch has a small four patch in the center...this link shows the Merry go round block... if you look at the last page you will see the directions for sewing the block together... it shows how to clip the threads and make a mini merry go round in the center of the block... the same can be done at each of your "intersections" in your rag quilt...
