It is also here on QIAD in the media theater - just watched it and both blocks are very easy looking.

i gave up on the video; figured it wasn't going to be posted after a month, so i just made the blocks from the patterns. El's directions are very clear and i just finished both blocks. they were very easy. not sure what october will be since we only have one more block to do according to the original layout. guess we'll see.

go all of blocks done for Sept but haven't posted pics (or pics for Sage Bud, I think) and will try to remember to post those. They were in the car when we broke down and somehow got all wet--put them in the dryer and now I'll need to press them all flat first (a wee bit of 'transfer' from one of the reds which will wash out, I'm sure, but won't know until the top is all done--drat)

Sally, so sorry to hear your car broke. I hope it isn't anything too serious. I hope the blocks come out okay.

Thanks for updating us. I was wondering if El was going to put on a border. I have my blocks all done EXCEPT the basket; but I just have to applique the flowers on and then sew on the corners so I should have that done by the time I get the Oct pattern. That should arrive sometime next week.

Again, so sorry you couldn't make it to class and hope everything works out okay with the car.

hugs, carol/kittyquilt

So sorry to hear your car broke down Sally.

I would just like to say that I have never enjoyed making a quilt as much as this one, the instructions are very clear and watching the show is such a hoot, it makes my day..I think I have the same sense of humor that Eleanor has, sometimes my family thinks I'm nuts, oh but life is just to short not to have a good laugh....Thankyou Eleanor.

I have one block to make and a bit of hand work on my centre and I am all caught up, whew..such lovely blocks, anyone who sees them are just amazed. I chose the 30's fabric and they are lovely in the next few days I will post some pics.

well, car has something broken inside--it's costing $500 to break it down to see if it's something they can fix--if not it will be another $5000 or so for a new engine......looking at a Prius but think we'll still fix the Versa--good for tooling around here to save milage on the Prius if we buy one (will also give me time to find a good deal, I hope)
here's my Sept and some Aug blocks--think I only took a pic of Turkey in the Straw last month!
