my updated list.

1) get a table runner put together before Jan 6th so I can learn to do binding...(didn't happen but I did learn to do the binding)

2) have a baby quilt done for my great neice due in March.( pieces are cut)

3) fix and re-sash my civil war sampler quilt. (done.) it's ready to sandwich

4) make a quilt for dad

5) make a quilt for my son.

6) use up the fabric I have before buying too much new fabric...(Maryz made me not follow through on this one but it was Christmas clearance fabric marked down to $3 a yard... so starting now I won't buy any more)

7) make a quilt for Jerry...

8) pick a block each month and try to make it... challenge myself...

My first de-junking project is DONE!

I figure if I can get one project done every other weekend, I just might get done in 3 years... that's the time I've promised myself that I would get my house ready to put on the market and be ready to move to smaller place.. what do I need with 5 bedrooms anyway--just more places for junk to collect!

Here's before & after photos

Next weekend, hopefully I can post a picture of a finished sewing project... we shall see.

Yeah Judi! Organizing your sewing closet, did you find things you didn't know you had?

Yaaay Tina, purple woman. I love lilacs, and I also realy like the amount of contrast between your white whites and your darkest purples.

Yea Joanne! And if you can keep the snow in the decor and off the lawn most of this winter, I will be quite happy.

Way to go Chriss! A part of every good plan is flexibility to make adjustments as needed, and prioritzing to keep the original intent alive rather than stubborn adhearance to arbitrary deadlines.

Wow, MaryQ. LOVE the before and after. Where did all your stuff go?

Oh My goodness!!! OK I can see that I'm not alone on the UFO's, I would be happy if I had all of mine together so I could put them all on a list. Hopefully your organizational skills will rub off on me where I can find all of mine first of all and then get them listed so at least that way I would know what I had in order to to get them completed.
I just love you all, you're so inspirational!
Thank you
Val

So Val, are you saying your goal is to find UFO's and make a list? That's a wonderful goal!

I found the box that has the comfort quilts from one of my goals! Pam
