Here are my first two, plus one for the extras box. When I sized up the 4 patch, it played so much nicer. Silly me. Pam

Pam, your blocks are fabulous! That striped fabric is awesome in this block. I need to get a move on with this one....maybe this weekend. Still not sure of the fabrics I will choose. Thanks for posting a pic of your blocks.

Beautiful, Pam!
The stripes are great in the Marie Webster block!
It is interesting to see everyone's interpretation. I am learning so much by being in these sew a longs.

I don't have the Stars across America book.
Can I find it anywhere else? Maybe i should re-read some of the postings?

Two questions.....
1. When do we get the next set of blocks?
2. Did you have enough people pick blocks?

Donna, I think it's monthly, so the next blocks would be around the first of Feb. Also, I think Sandy needs 3 or 4 more choosers, so feel free to think of a block from an El book and a block from quilter's cache that reminds you of El- and then PM her.

The second blocks are chosen and I need one more person to choose blocks. Thanks.

Re: Cotton Pals 2- Our Favorite Eleanor-ALL BLOCKS ARE HERE
Okay, we need some clarification on the Log Cabin block. El's is a 14" block, so Sharon and I were trying to convert it using Quilters Cache. She gave me some measurements and I made a block ( 2 1/2 center block, 1 1/2 logs) Well, it's too small. Here is what I have figured out. El's only has 3 dark, 3 light. QC had 5 dark, 5 light. So, if I can find 2 more dark and 2 more light, it might work. Otherwise, I will try 2 1/2 center, 2 1/4 logs. That is what my math comes out with.
I just wanted everyone to know the size conflict before they try it.

Re: Cotton Pals 2- Our Favorite Eleanor-ALL BLOCKS ARE HERE
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! It Worked!!!
The log cabin block came out perfect. This is to change the Eleanor Log Cabin from 14 inches to 12 inches.....use a 2 1/2 inch center square and 2 1/4 inch logs. 3 darks and 3 lights.
It actually came out better than my Marie Webster. Maybe because it was all stripping. I only had to trim 2 threads width in one little place. Marie came out 1/8 inch short in one corner.
I hope this helps someone else out.
