sewing strips

When sewing several strips together do you sew all top to bottom or do you sew top to bottom and bottom to top?

yeah, once you've got to the bottom, your next strip will start to be joined from the bottom of the last strips you joined, so you are not going down in the same direction every time. your work will start to bow like a banana other wise.
