One color log cabin?
Has anyone ever made a log cabin in all one color? Would it look ok? I'm a new quilter and don't know much about color combinations.

I have made them with a single color using different shades of yellow. It looked great. As a new quilted this is a great pattern to play with using colors you like. Two tone blocks looks great too which would allow you to play with layouts. The only rule, other then the 1/4" seam that I follow in quilting is do what I like an enjoy the process.

Thank you Carolyn. I want to make a quilt for a baby boy (due in Oct) in all blues. I am thinking a dark blue center, then the lights and darks around in different fabrics.
