Jacquie, I think that this is an excellent idea....like most everyone, I have not even started, other than printing out some of the blocks. This would be an excellent thing to start out the new year with! I love all the blocks we picked out, just did not have the time to do anything with them!

Sorry, but I am confused.

Are we starting over with the same blocks?

It's a wonderful idea, starting this one over. Jacquie posted a couple, and I think someone else did. Otherwise we were all good intended slackers. I have the fabrics picked out, and several of the patterns printed, but the farther I got behind, the less likely I was to get going.

So are we doing Cotton Pals: First Edition Revisited, and Cotton Pals 2: Eleanor Rules in different threads at the same time?

Yes, This one will have the same blocks. I will repost them..
I will be running 2 blocks of the month at the same time.

Cotton Pals 2, Our Favorite Eleanor, will have new blocks. These are being selected now. I only need 8 more folks to choose.

April has sent her choice in and they are lovely and represent El in the best of ways!!So are Cindy B's and Sharons.. Mel has chosen a delightful block and has one more to choose..we are getting them..

Okay. I get it.

I am glad we are starting the original Cotton Pals over, and I really like the new CottonmPals 2. What a great idea!

I am finishing the last 5 blocks. For a change I have managed to keep up each posting. Love the idea for the new cotton Pals.
Some day I will figure out how to post pics. LOL

Welcome, Debi! There's always a spot. You just do the blocks, post pictures, and keep them yourself. Pam

I'm thinking about attempting this. Have some questions for those of you who have seen these blocks and started. Did you figure out the yardage? How many different fabrics do you think we will use? Not really a problem. As kho knows I have quite a stash! Just curious.

Corning, I think there were 12 blocks plus 2 alternates. At 12", I'm planning in the ballpark of 3 yards assorted fabrics for the blocks, and then whatever for putting things together. The number of fabrics depends entirely on your desires at the time.
