Has anyone made the first blocks? Or are you like me still trying to decide on fabrics??

I have still not decided on fabrics! Hope to make a decision soon....glad these blocks are for me and not for a swap! LOL

I gotta get some 1800 backgrounds and then I will do scrappy 1800's. Lots of fat quarters to use up.

i'm going to be a little delayed in making mine, but hopefully by the weekend i may be able to make a start to them!
i have to try to finish the first row of my row robin, so i can post in on to the next lady over in the USA. my row is now all needle turn, time consuming to say the least!!!
i shall look forward to seeing the first of the blocks appear!!!
keep them coming girls!

Sandy/kho just called - she has no power due to the storms that rolled thru last night - hot temps, ice cream to eat, cows to get water to, all with no electricity!! Yikes!! And several more days before it will be restored... So I will post my blocks and I've Pm'd Kittyquilt and let her know!

PS: she does have a gennie, so they don't have to eat ALL of the contents of their freezer!!!

The Checkerblock Star is 9" - just to make it interesting!! I loved the block so, that I wanted to include it.... what I intend to do is add a boarder around all sides...will post a picture when I get mine done!

Finished the other BOM's I had started so this is great timing to start Cotton Pals. Talked to Sandy(KHO) this am and her mother is in the final stages of kidney failure so she may be off for a bit.

Any pictures yet? I hope to find or stay in my sewing room at sometime in the near future. We have hay to make and the calves are arriving and my DGD is missing me and the fair is this week and with Mom being in hospice it is busy here..
