Sounds good to me - I will try to keep up - but if not - I will add them to my bucket list of blocks to get done!

Since this is a sew-a-long I've decided to join, but haven't decided on fabrics yet. I have a couple fat quarter bundles, stash of 30's, CW....I have plenty of time to come up with something.
This sounds like fun---I look forward to the first blocks.
I may use my stash and go scrappy. What about doing scrappy and 30's? That would be 2 quilts...Redtop

Have been thinking about fabric for this one. I have a collection of CW FQ's (charleston) I may incorporate and then pull from my CW collection to finish it off. My goal is to not purchase fabric for it. Well, maybe just background, I don't tend to keep those around.

This sounds like fun. I will be using children's prints mostly and make up a few lap size quilts for Maryq's children's home project. And I might make up a few in Christmas fabric for runners, that sounds like a good idea also. Christmas fabric is always soooooo pretty!

Most definately wish I was in Florida.... however, DH will be having knee surgery - his artificial knee is falling apart and needs repair - at least one week in the hospital, and two months of recovery. Then, bone spur on foot to be removed, so it looks like September before we will be back in Florida....

As for my fabric, I'm going to go with Kansas Troubles type....

I have NO IDEA what fabrics I will be using!!!!! I am strictly a pattern and kit kinda gal! This is so hard for me....choosing fabrics, trying to determine how much of each fabric I will need, etc...

I hope inspiration strikes soon!

a girl is entitled to change her mind, especially if she is blondish! Ran out of money, so can't do what i was going to do. so, i'll just take each block as it comes and decide on the fabrics i have that "fit" the block. when the blocks are all done, i'll see how they go together, maybe several little things or, or, or..........this will be totally different than i've ever done, so it will be fun................carol/kittyquilt
