My gosh you folks are great. I didn't expect such a quick response to this idea. Thank you all so much.

With 12 folks choosing blocks we will have 24 blocks. Some may want 12. I think 24 would be about the right number for a king size-with sashings and borders.

This is truly going to be a great sampler quilt. The mystery is,of course, what the others chose. I hope there are a lot of pictures. Of couse if you want to sew up your choices ahead of time and have them ready to post pics AFTER they are announced you can. Post pics of the fabrics you are wanting to use too. Thanks again.

I have been looking at the blocks. Once again you folks did not disappoint. They are incredible and I think we have a variety for beginners and more experienced. Even the ones that I went "Wow" look so easy- Great job everyone.

Jacquie, You did pick some lovely blocks and they do look easy. In fact the second one is in cosideration for my barn quilt. Thanks for the idea!!
All of the gals picked beautiful blocks. No pressure on the ones who have yet to choose. This is going to be quite the sampler quilt.

Sign ups for the sew along are in a different thread. I am hoping this will stop some of the puzzlement that seems to be going on.

A few weeks ago, I bought a fat quarter bundle and fabric for borders-I think I will be using it for my quilt. I like using a bundle because the fabrics are already matched for me, makes it easier.
