square up tumbling block

I need to know how to go about cleaning up a tumbling block

I am not exactly sure - but this is my best guess -

You have a finished block size - and a Y-seam meeting in the middle of the block - use your ruler with the diagonal line going that seam and set it so you can trim off two of the sides - then turn the block and square the other sides - I would sliver trim till I am sure I am right in the final size of the block.

The diagonal line on the ruler will give you a guide so that you are center on the block -
