guess what i've been doing today...

i had in my drawer a lovely set of 'moda' charm squares that i received from 'Bethstreet' last year, which became the border, and i used a soft white fleece throw which i got from Ikea for £3.
the other 2 blocks will be made into matching cushions.
i have quilted the edges, and will 'tie' the inner 4 blocks and that's it done!!
i wrote your forum names, state & country next to your hearts.
i'm really pleased with it! it's a wonderful baby quilt to Phoebe, with love from my forum friends!!

Jacquie - My heart is pounding so hard and I have tears and I am speechless. What love you have shared with us by signing all our names to the blocks and giving it to Phoebe. If this isn't a "Hallmark moment" precious gift of love I don't know what is. You truly are sew sew sew sew sew special.
Now magnify those words by infinity and there you have it!!!

I put the blocks into EQ6 and decided to do a scrappy border like you did but mine is wider. I so like yours. I only have 1 package of 4" blocks and then some FQ's in red, whites and picks.

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. I can't wait to do mine now.

the 5" charm pack just leapt at me from the drawer! it was all pink, red & white with hearts and flowers... perfect! i thought!! and with it also being a 'secret pal' gift, even better!! lots of love from the USA!!! i still have some left which may get used with the cushions, we will see!
i'm dying to see teresa's and melanie's completed now!!

Oh Jacquie, it is gorgeous! How precious for your Phoebe. I am such slug...I haven't done anything with my beautiful blocks yet. I am going to have to give it some thought and see what I come up with. Thank you sew much for including us in your quilt to Phoebe. I think that was awesome to put our names, etc.... on the blocks. I might have to "borrow" that idea!

Look! Look! It's MY block - Phoebe doesn't realize just how special she is to have my block in her quilt (LOL). Jacque it is absolutely lovely and I know Phoebe will just love it and drag it around and keep it with her always.
