Re: 5 inch Charm swap
Thank you Lorie, for doing all this swap for us. This was my first too. I am so excited to be getting my charms for the swap and see what all colors I end up with. I have thought about diff patterns for these but am seriously considering disappearing 9 patch.
One lady in our quilting group is making one now with flower print charms and using a pretty mint green viney look in specific sqs to come up with a beautiful garden looking quilt. I love it. She is teaching a class on this pattern and ask if I would like to join them next week. This swap has gotten me excited about quilting again.
Thanks for keeping this going, Lori, even if it was a small group. I really appreaciate all you do for this forum and all of us. May God bless you as you quilt and swap and sew and make other folks like me happy. Hugs, Shirley Mae ps I will post when I get mine.

That was fast. I have mine sitting out on sewing table. I'm thinking about pulling out my FQ's and using them for more charms. I need to down size my stash. I might make another Buckeye beauty. I like the way the last one came out when I swapped fabric.

Mine came today too. What a wonderful assortment to play with. Thank you everyone who participated. Such pretty fabrics and so many diff colors and patterns to choose from. Now to figure out what background color to use and start designing something from all this.
Lori, thank you so much for doing this swap. I picked up my mail and headed to the quilting room to share my joy when I opened the pkg today. They were all surprised that I had received such a nice assortment from an online group. May God bless you, Lori, for all that do for all of us on this forum. You are a busy lady indeed. Thank you for being you. Hugs, Shirley Mae

My charms came on Monday and I think we all got a great variety! Thanks to Lori for hosting the swap!! I'm thinking of adding a few more darks from my stash, and a bunch of WOW or off-whites and making half square triangles with these charms. Unless I change my mind, it will be just HST, not a fancy pattern. I've always wanted to do one.
