i love these blocks...they are so pretty. i was able to get 2 done and maybe 2 more before i stick them in the mail. i did take pic but not savvy w getting from camera to here!!!! i sure would like to have my name pop out of the name pot this month!!!!! marcia (nur5e)

Blocks are done and will be in the mail today!! Whew! Postman said you should have them on Saturday and I believe the key word was "should". LOL I won't tell you how many I sent. I will let it be a surprise. Feel free to put in as many tickets as seems fair. -grin-

Table runner is keeping it company also. Thank you for giving me a touch of the Fall colors here in the desert. YEH!!!

This was fun. Not to hard and lots of beautiful fall colors.
Great way to start the season.

I managed to get my blocks in the mail. I usually give them to my mailman and he takes extra special care to see they get where they are going, but I wasn't able to give them to him this month. The building where I work exploded Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. Some guy driving a van fell asleep at the wheel, missed the stop light, went through a fence next to our building and crashed right into the building where the gas meter was. He broke the pipe but it didn't explode right away. He got out of the van and started walking down the street. The cops saw him and asked him what he was doing and he said I think I hit a building but I don't know where. So they put him in the squad car and drove back the way he had been walking and found the van and when they got out of the squad car, the gas was so strong that the cop told him that they had to get out of there and they weren't 1/2 a block away and it blew. It was around 12:30 at night and luckily no one got hurt. If it had been at noon, I would be typing from heaven because where he hit is exactly where my desk was. I'm sorry I don't have a picture, but if you google building explosion in Sandwich, Illinois, it has articles and pictures. There is virtually nothing left and I am trying to run the office off my cell phone out of the back of my car. I think we are going to have very temporary space beginning to middle of next week so hopefully I can continue to join in the swaps. I don't have internet access at home, I always accessed from work, but the computer is now under water in the basement and I am using my son's computer right now so that is why I am telling you all this. I will try to log on and keep in touch and I think all of the swaps and block exchanges I signed up for I fullfilled. So, think of me while everyone who works is cozy at their desk as I conduct business on my cell phone with my laptop plugged into my car.

Jacquie - I noticed it was back on the 14 you posted your blocks, they haven't arrived. I don't know if you can track the package from Scotland. Maybe getting closer to the holiday season, they will just take longer.

maryellen, i have noticed that some post is taking around 12 days or so to arrive either way. some times unfortunately longer. they may arrive in the next few days once the weekend is over.
no, i can't track anything once it leaves our shores. i have asked about that previously. shame.
crossed fingers, they will turn up soon

I am so trying to make sure I get these Christmas blocks done by Friday but just out of curiousity...
are we doing a block lotto for November and if so which one will it be? I sure hope it is an easy one like the leaves were.
