First I want to say that I don't mind "re-gifted" items or things that you might have, but haven't used or don't want anymore. I LOVE something that you make yourself..it is so special! Beatr had my name in a SP swap and had sent me a grocery bag that she made (and the pattern) and I have just used it so much it is almost worn out!! Anything handmade is wonderful to me.

By domestic machine now because I have RA I don't do any hand work...no longarm!

I love to read "cozy" mysteries, quilting novels, Amish
novels,anything "light" without sex, violence, blood and gore!

Spooners, vintage tablecloths in bright primary colors, egg plates
and FABRIC!!

Nothing that applies here. I don't like vanilla scent..makes
me feel yukky! lol!

Universal sewing machine needles, Bath and Body candles, pot holders,dish towels, coffee! and tea, quilters coffee mug (I have the
QIAD mug). A sewing machine cover for my Kenmore machine..
(I have never got around to making one!). Grocery totes.

14. Some tidbits of info about me (ex., profession, retired, my special likes, etc.:

I am a retired clerk from the Clermont County Sheriff's Office
where I worked for 18 yrs. Before that, I worked as a clerk for
a contract work provider for NIOSH, waitress and hair dresser!
I really enjoyed serving the public..mostly! lol! Been married
for the second time for 16 yrs. Three adult children by my first
husband and acquired 5 more adult children! We have 16 grands
between us and 2 great grands. We all get together on the
holidays here. And I have been quilting for about 12 yrs...self
taught.

11. My pets: We now have a guinea pig named Patches. He is being used for pet therapy for my grandson with ADHD and Aspergers. It seems to be working. He would be thrilled if somebody sent a little something for Patches.

15. Some tidbits of info about me (ex., profession, retired, my special likes, etc.: I am a nurse but current running a medical records office in a nursing home. I am raising a spirited grandchild who is working on his Eagle badge for scouts. I am not one to gather many friends but prefer to have a few close friends who I know I can count on and I can share my inner most thoughts with. I have two children, one boy in the military stationed in South Dakota and one girl still trying to find her way (hence the child lives with me). I am still with my high school sweetheart. I quilt for relaxation and me time so therefore will take on very few if any paying projects as I don't like the deadline and those searching for perfection. So, if i loose a few points, or the seams don't quite match, no quilt police!

16. Favorite fabric shop - I do not buy fabric at fabric shops (I know that sounds awful but the fabrics are just not of the same quality and I find them difficult to work with (but notions are great)

15. Some tidbits of info about me (ex., profession, retired, my special likes, etc.): I am a bookkeeper/secretary for a commercial landscape contractor and I am not retired yet. I love to do hand applique while watching TV or travelling to the lake. We camp in a 5th wheel and have a pontoon boat and like to fish. I love to spend time with my BFF & dear friends quilting on our HQ-16, shopping at quilt shops and other places and having sew-ins together. My very favorite holiday is the Houston Int'l. Quilt Festival the first weekend of November. I am married (Don), have two daughters and 6 grandkids and we have 2 dogs.

Little about me: Married on Valentine's Day, 1991 to Robin
Worked as an Auditor for 2 Hotels and then in the Configuration Office and the Safety Office at NASA.

My DH (Rob) is retired Civil Service and now works for the local prison so when he told me I didn't have to work anymore a friend got me hooked on quilting. I love to LongArm Quilt for myself and others and trying out new pantographs. I am trying to do all of El's Quilts on her list in El's Corner as her instructions make them look so easy.

3.Favorite style not picky just don't care for the real wild stuff ex Hot pink, Neon, that type. Love Christmas Fabric!

5.Quilting.......I do both mostly with machine.

13.A little about me........ I was married for 50 yrs to my 6 Children's Dad when he passed away with Cancer of the Pancreas. I have also lost 2 of my 6 children and one granddaughter. I have since remarried to a wonderful man that is finding out what it is like to have a big family (he never had children with his first wife, who also had passed away 6 yrs before my late husband. We met on eHarmony best investment I ever made. All of my children are married & live around close except for one.
I am a Retired R.N. have had lots of jobs over the years. Became an R.N. after raising my family at the age of 44.
I used to do a lot of other crafts the only one I really can't seem to take the time or whatever is Tatting I love it have books just can't quilt master it.
We live in med to small town in the central part of KS. We have a Hobby Lobby but no Joann's or Hancocks here. Have two quilt shops.
I guess that about sums it up. I am happy with my life and enjoying retirement. My spouse is retired Air Force, he loves to read and play on the internet so that gives me time to sew. He enjoys my sewing, likes to make suggestions and go shopping with me for fabric.
