Ann, it is a trilogy. The first book being "The Good Earth" and followed by "Sons". It takes up where Good Earth left off. The third book is "A House Divided" which continues the saga. I love these books, so interesting in their history and the way they show life in China in the early 1900's. I have them on my Kindle and am reading the second one now.

Mary Jane Clark (sorry if this has been posted already) - her new series with Piper (first one is To Have and to Kill)

Also Baldacci's The Forgotten - funny story; got it from the library, was about half way done, went to renew it to continue and had to return it because someone else had it on hold! Had to re-request it but just got it back yesterday - hope I remember what I read before :)

I recently read "The Cutting Season" by Attica Locke. Great mystery with an interesting social story in it. http://www.atticalocke.com/the-cutting- ... ng-season/ I heard the author interviewed when it came out last fall and went home and ordered the book. I shared it with several co-workers who all loved it too.

"A Single Thread" by Marie Bostwick"...very good, story about starting a quilt shop...

"1225 Christmas Lane" by Debbie Macomber...cute, another beach book

"The Blue Bottle Club" by Penelope J. Stokes...Reporter finds a bottle with wishes written by close friends and she works on finding the old friends.....Very good.....

Here's another to add to the list...."A Crack in Forever" by Jeannie Brewer.....It is very much like, Love Story, a tear jerker, story about true love.....I'm not sure but, I think there might have been a TV movie made from this book....
In the Sunday paper, there is always a list of best sellers and if something looks interesting, I put it on reserve at the Library.....

Just finished reading "Silver Lining Playbook" and found it very interesting. It was not what I expected. I have not seen the movie. Very different kind of book for me to read but I enjoyed it.

Here's another to add to the list...." Me Before You", by Jojo Moyes...Not sure why she called it that but it's about a care giver for a young man confined to a wheel chair and is bent on ending his life...Her job is to convince him he can still have a productive life.....Very, very good!
