I just finished the last book (there are 11) written by Rett MacPherson..the Torie O'Shea mysteries. She wrote the last one in 2008..

For someone that wants a very fast, easy read..these are great books. She's a great writer and packs alot of story into a fairly small book. Anyone that enjoys genealogy will like her books!

Enjoyed Sandra Dallas' Prayers For Sale recently. Have enjoyed all of her books, especially The Diary of Mattie Spenser

I'm currently reading Fatal Error by J.A. Jance. I love most of her books. Her J.P. Beaumont detective series set in Seattle are my favorites, but the Joanna Brady books, set in Bisbee, AZ is nipping J.P.'s heels. She even wrote a couple of books where the main characters of those two series met up. Now she has a third series, set in Sedona, AZ. Jance is always a good read.

Maryz, I'm currently reading J.A. Jances' book by the name of "Justice Denied" It's a J.P. Beaumont story. I'm only half way through it but I think I like the Joanna Brady stories better. Maybe I'll change my mind when I'm done. I like J.A. Jance anyway. Heck, for a buck a book...what a deal!!!

I found a copy of the book I was looking for. It was a little pricey buy but way under the ones I have seen so far. I bought it as an investment, LOL that is also what I tell my DH about fabric too.

The thing I like about Jance's books is that all the places are real. Stores, streets, towns, etc. One of J.P. Beautmont's favorite hangouts was the Doghouse Restaurant - an icon in Seattle for decades. When it was torn down about 10 yrs ago, she tore it down in the Beaumont books, too, and poor J.P. had to find a new place to eat breakfast. But when one of her murders took place 2 blocks from my daughter's apartment, I have to admit, I freaked just a little!
