You're the last one Marcia. Way to go! I thought I would never finish and I'm pretty fast. I couldn't get the hang of sewing without cutting and pressing. I do not like it when my seams don't line up. I finally resorted to cutting the threads and pressing, then matching and sewing. Otherwise, I couldn't get them to come out right.
It won't be too long until our blocks will be coming back to us.

Re: Tornado season is here... how about a Pinwheel block swap??
Good morning everyone -
The Time is Here!!!! I am organizing the plethera's of color tonight so all the packages will go in the mail tomorrow. WooHoo!!!!!!!!!!!
After organizing every package with the help of DH, this is how it came out.
The extra blocks that would have gone to Carol turned out to be all Fall blocks. I gave Jacquie and Loretta back their blocks. Marcia had kept hers and also the ones for Carol.
I didn't think that everyone in the 1930's group would want theirs back as they would be the wrong colors. So I am hoping you would agree with me to turn those 8 into a comfort quilt. If it's not big enough then I will add my 2 to them as well. We will see how it looks.
I am hoping this meets with everyones agreement. They are all packed and ready for the PO tomorrow. YEH!!!! Keep your eyes open, they are headed your way. Jacquie's yours has the gift label on it so you don't have to pay taxes.
I am so glad I was able to keep it going for everyone. I can't wait to see how they all look and the different ways we sew it together.
ENJOY!!!

Turning the extra blocks into a comfort quilt is fine with me. If you need extra blocks let me know. I can make a couple more. jean

I received my blocks today!!! Yay! They are all so pretty, and very well made, too. Ladies, you all do lovely work! I can't wait to figure out how to put them all together. Thank you all for making such beautiful blocks!
TeresaK - A HUGE thank you for your stick-to-it-ive-ness, and your hard work! Thanks to both you and your DH for sorting and sending them out. It was great of you to step in and see this through.
When (I say that optimistically) I get my quilt put together I will take a photo and post it on the photos page.
Have fun, everyone!

Got my blocks yesterday but I just had time today to sit down and look at them. They are all very pretty. I love the colors.
Thanks Theresa for hosting. I'm glad you were able to keep the extra blocks for a comfort quilt.
