babylock elegante

need help from experts on babylock machins got a error mess that read "the safty device has been activated.is the thread tangled? is th needle bent"ive read through this a few times and tried to correct everything but it will not unlock or disengage the safty lock on the machine? please please help

I don't have this machine - but a thought - is there a thread hiding in the bobbin race area that is caught? Look carefully and you may find one. That happens sometimes to mine

Have you thought of unpluging and then repluging the machine?
