I currently subscribe to Fons and Porters "Love of Quilting" and Quiltmaker. I like them both -- especially that they provide the suggestions on how to quilt the quilt once it is pieced.

Check 1. Used bookstore be surprised what you find.
2. Network here, some might trade or sell.
3. Would Etsy carry some.
4. Every year in June our quild sells magazines for under $2.00.
5. Subscribing is the best, it comes to your door. Like a Xmas present.

If I were going to choose just one, it would be Quiltmaker. I like different magazines for different things.
