Y'all go look at the Northcott "Leading Ladies". I love it with the black background. What do you think?

I was thinking that that panel would make a beautiful center for a quilt and they you could use all the other fabrics to add lots of borders. If I can find a pattern in my mags or books that I could use this fabric on and that I could in corporate some embroidery on I'm getting that fabric. It just jumped off the monitor at me!

Joanne - that is the fabric @ Fabric Shack but it's not all there. Anyway, the panel with the black background just really blows my skirt up!

Yep, it sure is pretty. The black background is very dramatic, but I think I prefer the white.

Cindy, that is beautiful. Since you have the new embroidery machine you might go to embroidery library and look at their full bloom designs. They are amazing!

Cindy, I,too, love that black background. It really makes the flowers pop. Lakewood had a similar fabric with hydrangeas several yrs ago. I made a quilt for my sister from that one but not sure where the pic is. I had a white background so they were pretty but the black really shows off the colors and brightens up the flowers.

Thanks so much for sharing the website and info. Are you making a quilt with that? Should be really pretty when you finish it. Do they have this fabric here at QIAD? My wifi ability is limited so can't do a lot of searches and websites very often.

Hugs, Shirley Mae

You are so right, that is beautiful fabric. Though I do not normally like black, in this case it give the flower print such a rich look.

Y'all are not gonna believe this. I got my Fons & Porter magazine on Friday so I tossed it in with the camping stuff to read when we got there. When I pulled out the magazine to read it I couldn't believe it.....there was the fabric right there on the cover. They used the white background. I told DH that I had just found that fabric online and was telling y'all about it earlier that day. Anyway, I think I am going to use that fabric line and do some embroidery on my machine to put in it, too. Talk about ESP or something!
