what to do with leftover fabric and quilt squares

I tend to make quilts in color ranges. I have saved leftover blocks from projects in groups of colors. Browns, greens, blues, etc. When I get enough blocks to make a quilt of any size I piece them together as a "sampler: quilt. Sometimes I have to add sashing around the outside of a block or two to make it the right size, but it all works out in the end. So far I have made and quilted one large "sampler" and made a couple of small ones. Even though some of the fabrics look a little like they don't belong together (Civil War and 30's repro look kinda strange), the colors blend beautifully and no one is the wiser...
