name of this fabric

Post by garden »

I am looking for the name of the fabric that was in the March 2008 quilters magazine called Jewel of the Night on page 56. I have the stash for the stars but I can't seem to find the small and large leaf print. I have been going thru each shop of the fab shop network and I still have no clue. Has anyone made this or does anyone know the name of the fabric? I have contacted Quakertown Quilts where the kit was originally but have not received a reply as yet. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

I just checked the Quilters Magazine website. When I clicked on the link to order the kit it pointed me to Quakertown Quilts, but it said "Ordering information: Yardage is based on 42" wide useable fabric. Similar fabrics to make the quilt top only (includes binding)". When I checked some of the other kits, they specifically listed the fabrics.

I thought maybe someone had ordered the kit and would know the name of the fabric.
I have been going through the fab shop quilt shops websites and I have also checked 200 quilt shops website. I dont know why this one didn't have the type of fabric listed for the leaf print. The mottled fabric is no problem because I do have this in my stash. I guess I will have to start looking for something close to it, but so far nothing. I will keep looking for a little while. I don't have any quilt shops within 100 miles to where I live so the internet was my way of shopping. Thanks for replying.

Here's a blog that shows the quilt made with a fabric different from the leaves
