I grew up on a road where at least three of the houses were close family. Then, I got married and moved to a road where at least three of the houses are family! I do believe in Duct Tape - the universal tool. You can fix almost anything with a butter knife, steak knife, twine, and duct tape!

Some tidbits of info about me...I live in a very rural community in Southwest VA..Population 47 when everyones home..Been married to the same wonderful man for 28yrs. One of the joys of my life, showing my cats .which I have been fortunate enough to be doing quite well with.I love to quilt with bold colors and modern patterns, dimensional patterns and any cat pattern...What can I say.. I'm the crazy cat lady..also Like doing Doll quilts..Hubby and I enjoy gardening, and seeing who can grow the prettiest flowers..We also enjoy relaxing by our Koi pond and hand feeding them..I also walk my rabbit on a lead....I am a stay at home housewife and my hubby is disabled..Our animals are our "kids"...And thats about it for now...

so i know i dont do a lot of the swaps but i would like to say i do the santa swap and some of the secret pal swaps and i think it is a very nice thing for the person that recieves the gift to go to the swap thread after they open there package and at least acknowledge they have recieved it whether thay like the package or not because that person that sent it probably put in a lot of time picking out there surprises just my 2 cents worth,,,, have a happy new year my quilting friends

I have been away from the forum & secret pals exchange for so long many of you probably don't know me. So thought I would add to this thread to help those who may need a clue or two
