Haven't added the borders yet but here's my 'Better Star for All Seasons'. Made 16 stars of each size to make it longer for the lap size. Lots of fun (and very forgiving), might do a smaller one with Red, White and Green.....I was going to wait, but in case anyone out there is thinking of a dark background I thought you might want to see one:

Sally, you are an inspiration! Both quilts are beautiful!! My favorite is the Fabric Frenzy, though...your colors are gorgeous!! Are all those appliques in the pattern???? I LOVE them!!

Re Fabric Frenzy--yes, the appliques are in the pattern (thank goodness!!)although I actually used the accuquilt Go to cut them with fusible on the back since the LQS at my twin sister's town (Woodland Park, Colorado), Nuts & Bolts, has one you can rent--also cut a bunch of bees, dragonflies, butterflies and flowers. Not sure what I'm going to do with those yet. I have the Accuquilt studio and cut oodles of scottie dogs for several guild members. Just picked up a bear and plan to do a woodland quilt (with my guild).

thanks for sharing, sally, i love the stars quilt--the fabrics are so wonderful.

i haven't selected my fabrics yet, but i'm workin' on it for the better stars for all seasons. i'm leaning towards the "floating" one on the pattern, but not sure yet.
