This quilt was made over 30 years. I would work on it when I had time. This was the first cross stitch quilt I made. I hand quilted this. When I learned to quilt, my sister and I thought my stitches were pretty. Because of this, I put all dark backs on my quilts so you could see the stitches. We never knew that the stitches were to be small. Thanks to Grandma Taz for telling me that there are no quilt police. I hope that you enjoy. Sue

Sue - it's just stunningly beautiful!! I was always told that it was more important for the stitches to be uniform than it was for them to be small. Yours are VERY uniform and there sure aren't any 'toe-cathcers' anyway!! Be proud - it takes a lot of 'stick-to-it-iveness' to stay with a project for 30 years!!!

It's beautiful!!! The stitches look so pretty on the dark backing. You can be quite pleased with yourself for finishing such a lovely project!!! THank you for sharing; it's very inspirational!!!
