My candle mats are lopsided

i have this amazing pattern from Linda for candle mats. I made another one today and sure as shooting it is lopsided again. It seems that the two top sides are a bit longer than the rest and I can't figure out what I am doing

maybe it's for lop sided candles???lol

you may need a pattern adjustment if it happened twice it probably isn't the way you are cutting and sewing but the directions in the pattern may be off.... have you tried the designer's website... maybe there is an update on this pattern with the correct info.

I am sure it isn't the pattern. It is the same exact pattern that Linda uses, she copied it for me and even wrote her own helpful hints. The one she sent Aunt Martha is perfect, so I know it is something I am doing. But hey, maybe you are right, it might be for lopsided candles hehehehehe

I DID IT!!!!! Who I made a holiday mat for practice and took my time and it came out wicked neat. Thanks again Linda for the pattern
