Beautiful! Way to go MOM! I hope to hand quilt somewhere close to this, someday.

That is beautiful. If I had to handquilt I would still be working on the first one at my own funeral.

What great hand quilting. I need to mark a quilt to hand quilt. I really enjoy it. I just don't like marking the quilt. Lori

Lori, my mom doesn't "mark" her quilts. She pinned paper stars on and quilted around them. When she does straight line quilting, she puts down 1/4" masking tape and quilts beside it.

So very beautiful! She does awesome work. My mom is the same, not a day goes by when she isn't sewing. She has made many large quilts but now is doing small lap and crip size for nursing homes. She is 85 and I hope to see her quilting into her 90's also.

Hugs to your mom and tell her she is an inspiration to us all.

The stitches are perfect! And her work is beautiful - I want to grow up to be like her! :-)
