You can find the book in the book listings for Quilt in a Day publications. Look under Patchwork Santa.

Perhaps I still cling to the past, but this post amazes me. Not for it's content, but that someone in Ohio asks a question, gets an answer 13 hours later from a person in London, ENGLAND, about a pattern from California, and I am reading it all 2 hours after that in Washington State! My grandparents would just shake their heads at the age we live in. Gosh! I do myself! In most cases, isn't this wonderful?

BTW, I'm looking for that pattern myself! Thanks Flystitch!

I have a great many of Eleanor's books - I am a big fan even though I live so far away. My DD lived in La Costa (now moved to Vista) and when I visit I always have to go to QIAD. For my birthday in July a dear friend bought me Orion's Star Quilt. What better present.
I was lucky to go to Paducah when Eleanor did the Egg Money quilt show. What a hoot that was !!!!

Hi Flystitch,
I've never been in contact with anyone from the UK. What a treat.
It just goes to show how far reaching El is. She is so wonderful in
every way. How luckey you are to have seen her in person.
I'll have to get Orion's quilt pattern. I've heard so much about it.
I had a video of the TV show when El did the Patchwork Ssnta, but I loaned it to someone & she never returned it.
Well so nice to hear from you again. I'll close now.
All the best to you and yours

It is a small world & the quilting community is so widespread! It's so fun to get to know quilters from all over. I have always loved that Patchwork Santa & hope to someday get around to making it.

Wow! That's better than one taken with a movie star. LOL Really
though how great it would be to be a friend that lived near her.
What fun we could have, & what we could learn from her.
I still can't get over talking to such a nice person all the way
from the UK.
