Kathysquilts I'm so glad you enjoy what I sent! I'm a hand quilter also and I can't pull the needle without those pullers. I break needles all the time...or bend them. The FQ's are all 1930's repros...and the thread cutter is my favorite! I wear it around my neck on a ribbon when I quilt.
Enjoy!

WOW, I got the coolest sewing kit in my secret pal package from Grannysparlor yesterday. It has almost anything you could need for sewing or quilting, scissors, thread, needle threader, needles, seam ripper, marking pencil, tape measure, pin cushion, headed pins, and other things as well. I also got a package of great charm squares, a pin from a recent shop hop, and an angel ornament... Thanks so much!!!

YAY!! My September SP gift came in the mail today! What a great day! I spent 6 hours at my Sue Hausmann seminar and came home to a package chockablock full of goodies from Jan, Gramma of 12! It seems that Jan and I have a lot of similar interests! She sent Christmas stickers for scrapbooking that will be perfect when I FINALLY get my DD#1's childhood book underway, a pack of needles with a a threader (my old eyes will love that!), and four pieces of fabric. Since Jan is also into genealogy, One of those pieces was a fabric panel, that I have admired from afar for a long time but never found it to buy, of a tree with labels for family names to applique on. It's beautiful. Mostly, though, as always, the most treasured item was a note telling me about herself. Thank you, Jan! I love it all! You're a great S.P.!!
