Re: September Secret Pal names are exchanged!
Thank you GrammieQuilts/Judi!
I love the pattern, and the fat quarters are very cool, I love the blues, grays and greens, and I love the fern pattern, and I also like that they are batiks, as I don't have too many of those.
The needle threaders look like they will work for me, I do hand quilting, and even though I'm 13, sometimes I still can't see those tiny eyes!
The rick rack is very nice, I will be using it on my next crazy quilt project(how did you know I liked crazy quilting?)
and the pins are very useful,
Thank you again, I loved everything you sent me,
Emily

your welcome Emily I didn't know you were only 13....I would have been a little more funky. My 13 yo grand d likes bright and funky. But glad you enjoyed them.

Re: September Secret Pal names are exchanged!
I got a small box from Mary Z / Purrfect Lady. It might as well have been a Christmas stocking! I just kept pulling more little goodies out of the box! She sent fat quarters in green and purple (perfect!), a pretty needle/mending case including buttons, a tin with thread, quilting gloves, some rub-on words, and fall napkins. And an Earlene Fowler book she is passing on called 'Mariner's Compass' about a quilter who solves mysteries. I haven't read any of the quilter novels before so I am looking forward to this one. I really like mysteries! I really enjoyed reading her note about herself. I love getting to know my quilting buddies!!!
Thank you, Mary. You've put a big smile on my face.
